I know Twice's two new songs are technically Japanese but whatever Happy Happy is better than Breakthrough and is their best Japanese comeback. I am a huge fan of Twice and what I love about their music is the happy feeling I get from listening to it. I get that feeling so heavily with Happy Happy, not as much with Breakthrough although I do still like the song.
I think that was the assignment. "Despite being __, I don't ___" As for the drinking thing, she comes from Southern California, I'm sure she went to high school with a bunch of partying teens. I didn't party in high school either and got teased about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I also think the drinking culture in Japan is different than in America but I'm not 100% sure. But I also think these are weird things to put on a school assignment
IZONE's Japanese comeback today was bad. It was boring. Really disappointing after Suki To Iwasetai. There's no energy in any part of it. The video looks kinda low budget and reminds me of old jpop in a way, maybe the was the source of inspiration, but its 2019 now and I expect better from a pretty big group working under a pretty big company.
Like I said, her hips are rotated to the side. Her shoulders are facing more forward. Her body is literally twisted, therefore her bellybutton is as well. It doesn't mean the photo isn't edited but can we please stop reaching so hard trying to find things to hate about her?
Her hips are rotated in the second one, giving a smaller illusion. I'm kinda curious about her choice of shirt. It looks thick/heavy as if its not suited for summer weather. I find it interesting how she is trying to go back to "boho" yet she is wearing a heavy looking top and bulky boots? This outfit is like a weird mashup of a few of her different eras lol
Is the first photo even completely natural? sure, the second one is clearly a lot of editing/makeup to make her look different, but i'm pretty sure the first one is edited as well. I only ask since people are talking about embracing her natural features based on this photo
Im not sure if this is just me or if anybody else feels this way. It seems that a divide is coming in kpop. Groups in the new generation are either leaning toward a sound that is more appealing to a "western" audience or are drawing from the "older" sounds of kpop (like gen 2? not gen 1 as much). I just feel like there's groups like ITZY and Everglow that seem to go for the electronic/hip hop/pop sound and theres groups like Cherry Bullet and Hot Place that lean more into an old school style. I don't really know how to explain it, its more than the groups just having different concepts like girl crush vs. cute. If you check out other debuts of 2019 I think you will see what I mean. I dont listen to many boy groups though so Im not sure if this applies to them! edit to better explain my reasoning: people heard ITZY and Everglow and thought they were unique, but seemed to feel that they fit in with the current trendy sound. people heard Cherry Bullet and Hot Place and thought "wow how refreshing" and seemed to feel that they took inspiration from older kpop
I need advice for US taxes lmao im having a hard time finding answers. I live in california but Im still a resident of a different state registered at my parents address (changing residence costs $$$). I started Uber driving which means I have to make quarterly tax payments as an independent contractor. my payment is due June 15th for the past quarter so im trying to fill my stuff out. Im just so confused because obviously i drive here in california (so thats where my "business" is located) but since my legal residence is not here, im not sure which address to put when requesting my W-9 form? does anybody know??? pls pls pls im sorry this probably seems so confusing, im confused
I agree with some of the other things you said but honestly wtf is this?? how does liking a photo of herself make her a narcissist? Sure, she's a bit narcissistic and self-absorbed sometimes but... do you not like any photos of yourself lol??? as for the question on how she's so self-absorbed, I'd say it comes from being an influencer or online personality or whatever she is. Its technically her "job" to post about herself, I dont see how she could avoid being a bit self absorbed. But I do agree that it's extreme in her case. Probably because she spends so much time trying to make herself appear perfect online, she can't help but obsess over herself. I believe its one of the reasons why some people think she should take a break or just quit her online "job"
well at least shes hanging out with SOMEONE. Honestly I think it would be difficult to be a non-japanese-speaking person in Japan and have friends who aren't weebs. Y'all can feel however you want about her choice to hang out with Venus and Cathy but keep in mind that they are more familiar with places around Japan than Kenna and are also used to filming in public, which means we might actually get a decent **Japan** video from Kenna.
I think some people are being too nitpicky about the video title. I think it was a good choice because some videos will be titled for "short hair" even though that person's hair reaches their shoulders, those videos wouldn't work for people who have hair as short as Kenna's. Her title grabs the attention of those with really short hair such as herself, its important to grab attention with video titles. You can feel however you want about it but it didn't come off as rude or angry to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think some people just see things she says in a negative light just because she has been problematic and rude in the past, but that doesn't mean that everything she says should be taken in a negative way, I don't think anybody would have thought twice about that title if someone you didn't know used it
