We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
personally I think they should be spending the money and all that free time they have on therapy to help with their depression and other obvious mental issues so they can be more productive and actually get that youtube career they want so bad and degrees and stuff but that’s just me i know it’s easier said than done but like. how they’re living isn’t healthy (assuming with what they show) being so depressed you can’t go to or keep up w school or keep a job isn’t good and impulsively blowing the limited money you have on trips and concerts that will only bring you short term happiness then having (assuming bc it happens to me) a major depressive drop once they’re over isn’t healthy at alllllllll. obviously I’m assuming they aren’t going to therapy so if they are my bad! really do hope they are going because I do think they do have potential but they’re just so lazy and defensive with everything so they should work on that in therapy if they are going also already know they’re gonna indirect this on twt so all their three followers can see and defend being mentally ill so hi girls :*
bts did an interview and the interviewer asked them if they (still) talk to her or anything and they all said no lmao wonder who really dropped who? did they drop her because they felt and saw she was using them or did she drop them because she ultimately got what she wanted which was clout and her name out there more?
I lit rally do not care if my posts are downvoted idk how or when I gave off that impression and I’m really not trying to come off aggressive or angry that’s just who I am I guess I ramble a lot and get passionate (?) about whatever topic is at hand (and I love arguing) so I’m sorry if/for coming off that way, not my intention at all; but just as you guys are entitled to your opinions and posts I’m entitled to mine.
the opinions on bts and how they don’t deserve xyz aren’t even unpopular anymore that’s the thing lmao. how come whenever someone defends something they’re automatically white knighting and ‘that stan’? If anything i have the unpopular opinion at this point. and there are sources about some other subjects in other posts on the scandal thread. and im not even mad im more annoyed
I posted this on the scandal thread but I’m feeling chaotic and bored and no one really answered me and it was a legitimate question. if your favs were as big as bts and had the same opportunities exposure and impact worldwide as bts does but bts never made it as big as they have, would you feel the same about them? would you feel the same about how unnecessary and unneeded western/worldwide recognition is? or no? say your fav (pick one doesn’t matter) went to the un sold out us stadiums were invited to host and perform at western award shows and morning segments, would you congratulate them and go on and on about how much they’re doing for the kpop industry or would you say they’re overrated theyre sell outs they just lucked out they’re no different than any other kpop group etc? im 100% open to dialog and discussion on this im really not a ride or die if you don’t like my fav choke they can not do any wrong ever kind of person because that’s just sheer stupidity imo plus i don’t have the time energy patience or support for that mentality. i actually agree with some of you on some of the points and i guess holes? flaws? (idk what to call them) you bring up but it just seems like a lot of you can’t won’t or just flat out refuse to recognize admit and acknowledge that whether you like it or not, bts are making big waves in the not only kpop but the music industry in general and influencing and inspiring so many other groups and the giving the asian community a whole new platform to be recognized (not always in a respectable way admittedly) in the media and I don’t really see how that’s such a bad thing? i admit that we will (probably) never see who an idol or celeb really is and that idols are so manufactured and have been trained since day one to look and behave certain ways in front of an audience and how to answer questions to come off more likable. but like. they aren’t the worst group or people in the world or industry to have this title, so to speak.
Lmao is there a way to read that thread where he invited them backstage? Why would he invite two girls who don’t speak a lick of korean backstage, when bts aren’t even allowed to have unmarried women work on their team/backstage? Make it make sense.
Last comment on this topic from me Saying bts doesn’t deserve what they have, that they’re overrated and their fanbase is the reason why you dislike them or anything along those lines is not the same as constructive valid criticism/valid opinions on THEM as a GROUP and PEOPLE If you want to use their problematic past as an excuse fine, but make sure to bring up your favs problematic past as well it’s only fair This goes for any group not just bts
edit: to clarify I mean everyone brings up bts problematic past to justify why they dont like them (valid!) while completely ignoring their favs problematic past which is hypocritical considering they all have probably done and said the same exact problematic thing
