Sorry, a little off topic, but I seemed to have missed the whole Ken situation. Can someone give me a rundown or point me in the direction of where that was discussed? Thank you!

Can we not do this still? People used his pronouns above you and if you actually looked at his photos, you would see some tagged as "cuteboy". If someone is trans (and even when they are not), use their pronouns!
If this was just a harmless (but ignorant) question, then ask it without seeming like you're making fun of transpeople. So if you think he is a boy because he is acting manly, use the "he" pronouns, OR just use the person's name or the pronoun "they" until you know. We've had people insist on calling people the wrong pronouns and that's shitty behavior.

Not defending her because her actions shouldn't be defended, but I can explain a bit.
You'd think that someone who went through trauma would do better, but it's not always the case. It's a hard road to walk out of that kind of situation and learn other ways of living. If someone was criticized a lot by a loved one, they will assume that's how relationships with loved ones work. It's not even a conceptual thing. It just happens automatically. You treat others how you were treated because that's all you know.
She can change like anyone else, but she needs to put effort into it and it seems that instead she's just shutting everything down. It's understandable, but not good. The best thing for her is to learn how to be Venus, how to treat those around her, and to GO OUTSIDE AND MEET FRIENDS.
Even I have to yell at myself to go outside because I love being inside in my room, but it's not healthy for me. I don't care if I like being a hermit, it's going to make me downward spiral. Venus, sometimes self-care is punishing.

Personally, I don't see anyone as the victim. Of course, Venus is the victim of her mother's terrible parenting, but in this situation?
No one plans this stuff. It just happens as we grow up, realize things about ourselves, and change. Whether or not Manaki and Venus are still in love now doesn't disregard that they WERE in love before. They were close and good to each other. It wasn't as if Venus was sucking him dry of all he had. They had fun together.
If they split, then they just grew apart. That's life.
I'm wishing the best for the both of them because they're both good people.

It's not as if the thread is dead. It's just if there is nothing to say, then there is nothing to say. Otherwise we would continuously just be repeating the same things over and over and over again and what's the point.

My guess is there were already some problems and they hoped a breath of fresh air (moving to Korea) would fix it and it didn't.
As for the cats, they probably discussed that Sharla moves around a lot for work, traveling and touring, and at least for now, having a stable person coming home daily would be better. That said, I really hope she gets them back. We may not know the full story, but to me, they are very much Sharla's.

That's literally not how the language evolved? The entire community has kind of tumbled together and it just worked out that way. Joe Schmo didn't just decide "you know what, I'm gonna call myself gay even though I'm bi." It just formed that way.
What are you talking about with "... include males in lesbian's sexual orientation against our will"? Bisexual people existing is forcing men into lesbian relationships? No. An umbrella term is making people assume shit? Maybe, but that's not on the umbrella term or the marginalized communities within. You can call yourself LGBT+ and the people will not know what you are until you give them details. It's the same with gay.
The problem I'm running into while trying to understand you is if this is all the case, why do you use gay? You already have a word, lesbian? With your idea, then what about gay men? The main word to describe only them is gay. Shouldn't you not use it since then you're pushing women into male-only sexual orientation?
I think it's good to be very active with your community and shut down people who are causing harm, but what I'm seeing from your actions is that you're attacking people in your own community (LGBT+ as a whole and WLW) and you have very biphobic ideas. If you can live with that, I can't change you, but I do implore you to consider it.
That's basically all I gotta say on the topic.

Okay, but those problems don't stem from bisexual people. They stem from assholes. You're blaming a marginalized group which is "not cool." Some of those examples happen to bisexual people, too, and for you to completely dismiss it because lesbians are most important to you? Very terrible behavior. I don't care if you're a lesbian, you can support your cause specifically without bashing people who are having similar problems, too.
You're also not taking into account that language evolves and gay has changed to be an umbrella term in more recent years. If you're not straight, you're gay. You can't act like it doesn't or pick and choose how things change, unfortunately. We used to call ourselves queer, now we call ourselves gay. You also can't act like the new usage of the word is what sparked these ideas and actions and hate against lesbians. Unfortunately, our society has hated gay people FOR A LONG TIME.
All in all.... Your unreasonable hate towards bisexual (women, only apparently) is very much a you problem.

It's definitely not that I feel sorry for her if you're implying to my post. It's just the idea. Like I wouldn't be racist towards a POC if I didn't like them, wouldn't misuse pronouns towards a transperson if I didn't like them, and so forth. Like? I feel if we allow shit like this, it's a game of telephone and down the line, people are gonna think this is okay towards actual decent people.
Aside from posting photos? Lawyer? Uh, do what he did without telling us and getting $10,000 back through paypal. He's more than halfway there to getting his money back and it didn't require posting photos. And look what the photos did: they gave Mira a chance to whine about it to garner sympathy, just like I said she would.

Not to defend Mira because she's an absolute asshole, but this ideology is a bit off to me. Yeah, she uploaded them of her own volition, but that didn't relinquish rights over to us to do as we please. If she doesn't want to have those online, then fine. That's her mindset now.
I'm not saying you can't do it because I can't control you (nor that you have no reason to do it because Mira is a terrible person), but you're kinda are an ass in my eyes. What do you want to accomplish rather than looking petty? You think posting them will get Mira to pay you back? Because she won't. Will it make you feel vindicated and validated? No, not really. It's just rotting into your brain ever so more every day. She stabbed you and now you're just throwing dirt into the wound as if that's going to help you. You have an infection right now and the only medicine is loving yourself and NOT digging through her old photos and attempting to blindly stab back that way.
It's okay to call her out by what she's doing, but doing shit like this with half naked photos and her hair and stuff from awhile back? Uh, not super cool.
We can be better people than her and not do shit like this just because this is the internet and you can. The "oh maybe she should have thought about it~ the internet never forgets" is a bullshit idea and really feels like rape culture of "Maybe she should have worn more clothes and this wouldn't have happened!" Like the fuck? Sure, Mira is not a victim in many things in her life, but you're giving her a reason to feel like she's in the right because you're giving her a standing as a victim. And she's not. So stop?

Woof, it's definitely not a native Japanese speaker. The basic watashi and anata use and also why hanasu koto ga dekinai when they can use hanasenai? I'm not a perfect Japanese speaker, but uh... I think you'd convert it that way.
One of y'all ain't doing your homework and wanting to cause a scene. Stop.

I am one nosy motherfucker, but WHENEVER I participate in gossip, I do it because I want the person to better themselves. These people KNOW or should know what they are doing is bad and a lot of them know this site. If I was on here, you better believe I would be reading my own thread.
Just because we talk, doesn't mean it's all malicious. A lot of it is legitimate advice that they (Jasmine, specifically here) should follow. For example: stop being a fetishist, learn more deeply about the culture you fancy because you'll learn it ain't all sunshine and roses, and lying about yourself is very unhealthy to your mental health and to those around you for all kinds of complex reasons. Especially in this case where there is a potential baby being brought into the world and she's not going to treat the baby like a baby, but a toy or trophy or prop. I don't want any harm to come to them, whether or not the baby exists, in fact, I want the opposite. I was neglected as a child (for different reasons) and I can really see Jasmine stumbling into a emotionally neglectful attitude towards her baby where she takes takes takes and doesn't give the child what they need. And then where are they going to be in twenty years? Unhappy, unfulfilled, maladjusted, and alone.
I ain't a ball of sunshine, but I ain't malicious when I'm reading here. I'm not bad talking Jasmine for no reason. I'm talking with others about Jasmine's actions and trying to have a conversation on why this is bad and what we all can do to not do these bad things. If Jasmine stumbles across them and learns and becomes a healthier adult, good. If someone else stumbles upon this and learns that, hey, maybe they're doing these things and... it's not good so they should stop, GREAT.
Yeah, this is entertainment, but no, it's not just because I like being mean. I actually hate being mean. I'm not talking for everyone here, but I'm sure plenty of them are here for similar reasons.

Well, people have been saying it for awhile, so if you read back, you can find every instance of people saying WHY they think it's faked.
A few highlights include she hasn't shown a baby bump picture with her face, ultrasounds are easily faked, the photos that include stuff she has worked on for her baby (buying the baby clothes from awhile back) could easily just be her borrowing a friend's wardrobe.
And this is on top of the fact that she clearly lies about other things, so....
Sure, it might be real, but she is giving plenty of solid reasons for doubt.
AND then we get the people not in denial, but HOPING she doesn't have a baby.

Okay, dude, but you have no clue whether a person's self-dx has any truth in it. My opnion is that if someone is joking about wanting to kill themselves, they probably have some mental problem or other to cause them to say it because I don't know a single person who doesn't have problems that makes statements like that.
I started my depression at around the age of 12 AND NO ADULT in my life would listen to me or help me, so I didn't get diagnosed until I was 21 when I had to be hospitalized because of my severe suicidal tendencies. If someone would come up to me and say, hey, those 9 years were just self-dxed so you weren't actually depressed and ANY time you said you wanted to die, it was just because you're grabbing for attention, I would be pissed.
Sure you're saying it's just the "snowflakes" you're pointing your gun at, but I don't care if these snowflakes are the biggest assholes like Bri. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they have suicidal ideation.
Because it doesn't matter how "in" it is to be depressed, I don't know a single person who has spouted out "I want to die, I want to die, I want to die" without it being some semblance of the truth.
So stop quoting your experiences as the one true way depression and suicide work, please.

I think sexuality is hard to pinpoint and is a little different for everyone. If she calls herself bisexual, I'll call her bisexual. If she later figures she is a lesbian, then I'll call her a lesbian, but I won't say "called it." Because things are fluid sometimes and changing and weird. And right now we may be seeing a leaning towards femininity which could key towards a wlw sexuality, but.... bisexuality isn't a 1:1 ratio. It can be leaning one way.
Like me, I call myself aroace, but if I examine my feelings (towards fictional characters, hahaha), I can technically consider myself bisexual with a leaning towards masculine people. But I don't call myself bisexual even though I think both guys and gals are pretty nifty. I'm aroace.
Anyways, point being, I think we should respect Venus' idea on her own sexuality until she decides when and if it needs to change.
