I don’t really listen to a lot of the songs I think I said this before but I enjoyed the more “personal” I guess? songs on the album like High School Sweethearts and Lunchbox Friends and I think a lot of peoples favourite song is fire drill (it’s mine too even though it’s not on the album)
The movie itself I can’t really sit through in its entirety now I usually just skip through it. Watching it now I just feel like she crammed a lot of stuff into 1 movie so it feels very rushed. I feel like Class fight, Wheels on the Bus and Teachers Pet added nothing to the movie. I still find it very aesthetically pleasing though.
(Not replying to anyone) Just saying Melanie has mentioned that she had a nice life and the only things she’s mentioned that she suffered from is anxiety and depression (I think?) the other stuff she writes about are things crybaby has experienced) anyway I liked the songs that weren’t dealing with big problems since they kind of sound all over the place but songs like High School Sweethearts, Lunchbox Friends and Show and Tell where the best written imo, I like the sound of Teachers Pet but I have no idea what she was trying to say with that song (coming from someone who has been in that position as a kid before).
I think think the best song was Fire Drill lmao even though it was a bonus track
Also she mentioned she has two more movies planned already.
I watched the movie tbh it was really beautiful but it didn’t really feel like a movie of that makes sense it just seemed like a really long music video. Also sometime the songs felt really random like the lyrics don’t make sense with what was happening i liked it though I wouldn’t watch it again if prefer to watch the music videos as they are, separate
