You're totally right, from what I've seen most iris implants last about 2 years before they cause serious complications and (almost always) need to be removed. The eye is a super sensitive area, and that surgery is not legit. She basically paid someone to stick a foreign object in her eye, she'll be lucky if her sight isn't permanently damaged.
Unfortunately, there are still tattoo 'artists' who will tattoo underage people without parental consent, as long as they are getting paid. Danielle Bregoli, for example, has a tattoo and is even younger than Sky. I really hope that it's not real bc tattooers who will give people younger than18 tattoos also tend to be less talented and less hygienic, so tattoos gotten while underage have a much higher risk of getting infected or blowing out. I mean it doesn't look real anyway, but the picture quality is too grainy to tell for sure.
It's ironic how Sarah's whole career is meant to be about embracing your "unconventional features", but she does it by throwing her actually unconventional features (in terms of the modeling world anyway) under the bus.
I don't really know enough about medicine to comment on whether that's legit or not, but I do have to say that the fact that she gave two different explanations is sketchy. The stroke one sounds like pure bull, but I think hyper pigmentation caused by kidney stuff could be possible. Just in terms of visuals, her freckles look a little more realistic than Kokie's, just in terms of colour and placement. If you just showed me this picture without any context about the medical BS then I probably wouldn't clock it.
And again, she's stunning and has a great look without the freckles, it's so damn unnecessary 😓
Yep, it's really a pretty dangerous surgery with severe implications. I don't know if Sarah just wasn't aware of the possible ramifications of having the implant, or if she was informed but decided to do it anyway. It's kinda sad bc she's gone down a route which could actually be seriously damaging to her health in order to save her modeling career, instead of just coming clean about not having heterochromia, which would have been embarrassing, true, but at least she wouldn't be blind afterward. If anyone's interested there's an Instagram account (@ bright_ocular_gonewrong) that's in touch with a small network of people who have had their iris implants removed. Obviously, it's all anecdotal evidence but it seems like the standard amount of time that someone can have their implants in before serious complications set in and they have to get them removed is usually about 2 years. Wonder if Sarah will cave and get hers removed soon?
If you want to be taken seriously as a business then that's just one of the things you have to do. It sucks that sometimes you end up losing money, but if she's genuinely committed to building a legit business then she has to grow up and realize that a) refunding someone for a missing package is normal, and it's not unusual for the customer to ask for their money back in that situation, and b) that slagging off your customers on your public twitter (which is connected to your business) is basically the definition of unprofessional. Also, I bet that if it was her on the other side of the situation, and one of her packages from Dollskill or w/e didn't arrive she would be whinging non-stop about getting a refund.
You have to damage your hair pretty severely, but yes, if your hair starts thinning due to over processing or if the curl pattern is disrupted (both issues that Kenna seems to have) that damage may well be permanent, or at least pretty long-lasting, even if you shave your head and start again completely. It also looks like Kenna's hair is thinning at the temples, which is a pretty bad sign. I've noticed that it's much harder to bleach Asian hair, you have to be really careful or you'll end up bright orange and totally fried, that could also be a factor as to why Kenna's hair is so damaged, with her being half Turkish and Turkey being half in Asia.
What's crazy to me is that it seemed like she got caught lying about her natural eye colour being blue, so she stopped wearing contacts all the time, but somehow didn't see that the exact same thing was bound to happen with her 'freckles'.
Anyone else notices that whenever she posts a picture of an open book it's always Harry Potter? Her taste seems awfully narrow for an aspiring author. I know I posted about this before but I seriously can't get over the fact that she's meant to love books sooooo much, but she never seems to actually interact with them in any more substantial way than "for the aesthetic"
