    • Be a moderator! & Reports Announcement   03/07/19

We're aware that PULL needs more moderation and attention, so we're actively looking to expand our mod crew! If you're a regular user and intend to stay this way, then rest assured that we're working on improving PULL for you. In order to do this, we rely on user reports, so I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everyone to report posts you think break a rule, disrupt discussion or shouldn't be allowed.  There is absolutely no concern over getting too many reports - we get a handful of reports per week. More reports would be great because it helps us figure out how our users want the forum to be - leaving criticism in threads doesn't make it easy for mods to find your opinions. Furthermore, don't worry about being a "snitch" or too harsh - a report doesn't mean action will be taken, that's up to the mods. A report really only tells us to look at the comment and to gauge the community atmosphere. Often times, peer pressure or established community atmosphere will dictate the direction a thread takes, and criticizing certain posts can be uncomfortable or downright futile when the majority disagrees with your view. This leads to groupthink and degradation of thread quality because the loudest/most active users get their way. So reporting is a way to quickly and anonymously (to other users) give feedback to the moderators. If we don't get this feedback, we think everyone's happy and there's no need for change. So use this feature as much as you'd like to help shape PULL into a more constructive community again. If you'd like to be a moderator: Click here for the application form.

I don't think this is a really unpopular opinion, mostly a suggestion. But I really think we should make a separate category for community-threads (such as blackfishing, slavaboo etc). I feel like the threads talking about these communities rarely focus on few specific online personalities, and tbh it just doesn't fit in with a category of threads that are supposed to focus on individual online personalities. I know KF has a similar system and I just think it would be better to keep the community focused - threads in a separate category from the others.

heard about her from the pokimane video she made, all I know is that she is a titty streamer who has been banned from twitch multiple times (no clue why). Lots of people say she is just trolling. To be honest I can never tell when she is being serious or not, if it's all an act then she is good at acting ngl.
She got arrested at some event. But I don't know the whole context behind everything. There's another video that is 1 hour long that might explain it but I don't have time to look through that rn so I leave you with this.

What does this have to do with the topic? Did you even read Mikans response?

Huge respects to Mikan for coming here and clearing things up. Once again, no one here is shaming you for it.
Reading your response makes me realise that we are very similar, and I can understand that in a young age and stuck in a toxic enviroment can affect your mental health badly. I’m not good at coming up with good things to say, just know that you’re not alone.
I know PULL may not have the best reputation, so I understand if it feels scary to come on here. But I think you ’re very brave, people here are very respectful once you get to know them.

there's really nothing wrong with sex work and I can partly understand why Mikan didn't want to reveal it. Mikan seems like the type of person who wants to be seen as "wholesome" and "kawaii", and if her fans find out she used to do sex work, that image would be ruined.
At the same time, it's disappointing to see that she wasn't being fully honest about how she saved up. She really built up this "hardworking girl" image. We don't know how much money she actually made tho.
I also don't think we shouldn't remove the things you guys found. If Mikan is going to lie about all of this, then we're going to need those screenshots. PULL is an evidence based website after all. I say we should put it under a spoiler.

    @SEAL
I see where you are coming from, PDP has a controversial history which has most likely attracted the wrong people. I already said before that I hope Felix will tone down on some of his edgy humour after this, and seeing that post is disappointing because I want to believe that his community is better than that. From what I've seen they are very respectful despite the edgy humour, and seeing that post is disappointing.

The argument is getting way out of hand here. I think we can all agree on that PDP is not responsible nor has he encouraged this shit.
You can have whatever opinions you want on his humour and his fanbase, but I can say as someone who’s been to his subreddit many times that the community is far from being any alt-right. You guys keep mentioning Shapiro as some form of evidence, when everyone knows that guy is a joke and no one takes him seriously.
The shooter was motivated by 4chan and 8chan. That’s where he linked his stream and everything. He is using memes on purpose to make the media angry. Hate to say this but it’s disappointing to see you guys are falling for exactly what the shooter wanted.

I'm back after doing some thinking. I feel like I probably sounded like some huge WK earlier and that's embarassing. Anyway, after the last two incidents with the meme, I definetly agree on that felix needs to tone down. After this, we will definetly not be hearing the "sub to pewds" sentence any longer, because it is now related to big tragedy. I hope Felix understands this and can finally shut down the meme and possibly ban it in his subreddit. Felix himself may not care much about T-series passing him, but his fanbase has cared about it way too much, to the point where it's just ridiculous. He has taken this incident very seriously, and I hope he continues that way by ending the meme for good. I still don't think he is responsible for this, but he has almost 90 million people following him now and I hope this makes him realise how big of an influence he has on people.
OT: Was KF mentioned by the shooter too? Their website is going crazy and they have a message stating they're not responsible and stuff like that.

Felix doesn't actually care if he's not number one on youtube any longer. It only ended up becoming a meme and his fanbase is pushing it really hard. He has already said multiple times that he doesn't actually care that much. Because of the latest incidents I don't think he even wants to continue the meme because of how far it has gotten.
Sadly enough, one guy can't control his fanbase. Just stating in a video "unfollow me if you're this and this" is not gonna do anything. Any big influencer can attract shitty people. I don't see the reason in bringing up the old drama of him because he has already learned his lesson from those.
I'm gonna leave before it gets too heated in this thread. You can have whatever opinions you want on him and I know I can't change that. But my own opinion stands on what I've already said. I pray to the victims of this shooting, rest in peace.

I pray for the victims of this shooting, the murderer was just an evil guy with some stupid idea of "starting a war". I'd prefer to focus on the victims and not just pewdiepie in this situation.
However, if you actually watch his videos you would know that Felix has said multiple times that you shouldn't do anything illegal in this meme. I don't understand how you think he has somehow encouraged it? I'm sorry but blaming him or saying he is somehow responsible is stupid. He hasn't encouraged anyone to do this type of shit. Once he found out that someone had written on a memorial for the meme, he was disgusted by that too and has helped them out in fixing it. This probably sounds really rant-ish, but I honestly don't see how he is to be blamed or to think he has somehow encouraged it because he really hasn't.

Credit to lolcow, seems like we can add Art Theft to the list! Makes her even more hypocritical because I've seen her in kennas thread and i think she made a video on Kenna (snowflake who was caught plagiarising art).
