We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
I just gotta say, I'm neutral on this whole thing at the moment, but I can't stand how blind some of his fans are to the point where they'll ignore the blatant hatred and threats caused by the #IStandWithVic crowd. It's actually terrifying to see so many blind fans who think it's okay to harass others who are on the opposing side.
Thank you for taking the time to write this! I've definitely learned my lesson with being more careful with words. I sort of always used the r-word in a casual way, I was honestly a bit surprised with how offended people got about it and learnt a lot in the process. It's amazing how much you learn from being online instead of in your own personal bubble, both good and bad. As for the rework movement, I've already personally passed it on to two of my friends who I believe will be able to let it thrive in a very positive way. I don't believe I can handle it anymore, it kind of spiraled out of control. I definitely never wanted to be the face of something, I just wanted to express my own thoughts and vent my own frustrations. I really do think social media is just not for me, or that I should at least take a long break.
I do want to let this thread know that I am sorry for the n-word, to me the raid wasn't as much of a problem. Sure, people thought it was a shitty thing to do, but in the end it's a video game. To me, I felt more remorse for hurting people personally by using a word. I don't know if I'll make a Youtube apology, none of this happened on Youtube (besides the OW stuff) and were personal discussions, I also feel like it's just going to keep shining light on something I need to actually prove I'm sorry for. I've said some dumb crap, I will probably say some more dumb crap in the future, but I'm going to be more careful while trying to be more open minded in discussions as well as less rash.
I also need to address the screenshot in the first post. I don't remember the context of the discussion at all, I'm not going to lie and try to guess, but I do not support black or yellow face, nor do I support white washing. I've been very verbal in the past against white washing of any kind.
If you guys ever want to talk to me directly, feel free to DM me. Again, I don't want to make people feel awkward. ^^;
I'm wondering if I should talk on here or if it's best to stay away to avoid making people feel awkward, so if you guys could let me know what you think, please tell me. I feel a lot more comfortable talking here than on my social media (I know that seems weird), so if you guys are okay with it, I'm perfectly okay discussing things here. If not, I will delete my post and let you guys talk in peace. ^^;
So, I'm going to lay out everything if that's okay. I feel like you guys will give me proper criticism, as I've always loved this community and seen how respectful you treat everyone. It'll be under the cut.
I also don't think it's a good idea to criticize someone on their natural appearance. However, I do think we should criticize the photoshop, filters and angles she goes through to hide things to gain thirsty viewers. Unless she's been super open about it, which I don't think she has been (she's barely ever shown from the sides, usually front view). People only really see her with all these filters, falsies, front view, etc., so seeing her "natural" is quite jarring compared to it.
"They like school and that's it". Maybe that's why they didn't drop out?? Is she seriously hating on girls that are smart and have good work ethics? "The fun girls dropped out and boring girls stayed" Did.. did she actually say that?
Ohh, Parcher!!!! Okay, this makes more sense. I have a few receipts if you like, but they're a bit off. I also noticed this behavior, where these guys are upset over things (BowBlax with the Strikes, Davcev with being humiliated on stream, Fainted making a vid then going easy on her in the interview, and now Alex). Bowblax also sent me a message saying I did a good job with my "Pokimane and the e-girl syndrome" video, I'm kicking myself for not grabbing the receipts for that one. Here are some from Alex though. Edit: I had a convo with Bowblax, here are some receipts.
So, I recently listened to her music (All I've known her for is being extremely defensive in comments, so I thought I'd give her a listen and see what she was popular for) I'm.. not a fan? I don't know, she seems to be trying for that indie vibe, but her tone is boring and the backing tracks are lack luster. I don't really see the appeal at all.
She's trying to fish SOOO hard for compliments. "Nah, they won't like me, they like tall blonde girls with light eyes" Aka "Please tell me I'm prettier than them and could totally get a modelling job in Japan 'cause I'm a smol princess."
These are the only types of comments I get on my Belle video when it comes to "defending" her (if you can call it that), it really shows she has nothing worth defending, and her community is literally only there because they want to fuck her. So, if any of you guys feel bad when looking at her and seeing how much she gets for doing nothing, I just want to say that having a community like this is not worth it. Having a community that's positive, builds you up to improve, and promotes your happiness is so much better than this.
I'm going to sound rude but, who would be jealous of someone who's degraded on a daily basis, stalked and ddoxed, looked at like a joke and has a community that only wants her for her photoshoped body? Wanting to gossip does not mean people here are jealous, many people here are successful and happy, it's just fun to gossip and talk.
