We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
When Belle Delphine was popular I kinda hoped my boyfriend found her attractive like millions of other men. I know a lot of gals in the thread were upset that their bfs followed her but I don’t think I’d mind. At 18 I have the same body type as Belle. People say I look younger because I look underdeveloped tbh and it makes me upset. I know my bf has a preference for “thicker” women. Seeing that not all guys don’t care about boob size/thickness like they did with Belle made me feel less insecure.
I'm pretty sure she doesn't have any. I remember in a Christmas video last year she mentioned she didn't have a credit score so she had to borrow her parent's credit card to build one up. Her parents probably paid for all of her college because: -no credit score means didn't take out any student loans -her parent's income is probably too high for her to get any federal grants -she only started getting big on youtube roughly one year ago, her last year of college -she had no "job"
She should stop it with the "broke college girl" persona. The girl has money. Buying $600 boots and other expensive af $200 reformation dresses, and then complaining that a $60 vintage dress is too expensive? Please.
Being a person that can't gain weight let me tell you guys it's so freaking annoying when people around me won't shut up about me being too skinny. ("You need to eat more, you're too skinny!" "Wow, look how tiny teeny your wrists are!" etc.) I agree she could've just ignored the dumb question, but I can see why it's frustrating because I can relate to her. I would've been pissed off too tbh. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's a very stupid question, like what does choosing a career path have to do anything with your weight? It sounds like those people that project their insecurities on you and make you garner sympathy for them because you're the thing they're not. ("Wow your outfit is soooo cute! but I can't pull that off because i'm not skinny like you. Only skinny people look good in those clothes"). Ummm... okay?
In all honesty I don't think she ever needed a thread because she's not a controversial person with scandals to talk about. So that's why it seems we all praise her and whiteknight around here, because really there's a lack of problematic behavior to slam her on. We're not just gonna nitpick every single little thing Mikan does or else it'd get like the Kenna thread with pages about her wearing shoes inside her Japanese apartment that no one wants to read about. Since she hasn't done anything questionable... why partake in weak tea is my point.
I'm pretty sure she's just trying to follow the "me, an intellectual" meme format, she's using the word ironically ...which she didn't even follow correctly because her meme wasn't a play on words like the meme is supposed to be????
I see what you're saying, but I don't think the style itself is associated with the movement of bohemianism. American boho-chic style is mainly just a fashion trend with elements from hippie fashion. I don't think she's appropriating from a culture since boho style isn't necessarily associated with a specific culture like box braids/cornrows, bindis, and Native American headdresses would be. Unless for example you wore a bindi because it matched with your boho-chic outfit, then that would be appropriation.
