We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
She still get's a lot out of it...publicity and scholarship in her name at a well known university, not to mention the tax write off. I don't think the university gets a dime from her if she didn't get any of the things I just mentioned. But to be honest if she gave that amount to support a charity helping people/animals in desperate need, rather than an e-gaming scholarship, I'd be less cynical.
Her "gamer girl" persona is so fake. She's not spending any significant amount of time gaming off stream. She's taking selfies and glued to her phone reading every tweet/post about her, including this thread (hi poki).
Holy shit she is fed up with people that pay her typing too much in her chat. Just another example of how undeserving she was to blow up. But it is kind of funny how soul crushing that must have been for the people that basically live in that chat room and revolve their lives around her stream. They've all probably spent hundreds overtime on subs for just a tiny ounce of recognition for her...only to be told she is seeing them type too much lol. Even though they are probably lost causes, hopefully at least one will see it as a wake up call.
Ah yes, got to remind everyone that she's single. I just think it's very hypocritical that she makes post like this, but also jumps down people's throats when they ask if she's in a relationship. I get not wanting strangers to know about your dating life, but when you go on about how single and lonely you are, you're just baiting more questions about it.
Yeah, fun is basically a code word for game that brings in easy viewers. She's desperate for another Fortnite to come along. There's so many amazing games out there to pick from, especially if you're someone like Poki who doesn't play very many games. The notion that there is somehow a shortage of great games to play is ridiculous.
Holy shit, those comments are fucking brutal. Kind of ironic something like this get posted less than 24 hours of them talking about how LSF is starting to be more positive towards Poki. Talk about speaking too soon lol
Someone donated a few days back, "if you're in a relationship, will you tell us?". She said no. But she clearly has no problem letting people know she's single. It doesn't work both ways. Glad Destiny called them out on it. Quit pandering to your audience, either be honest about your dating life or don't talk about.
Yep, and if anyone needs further proof just take a look at his twitter likes. https://twitter.com/VaderRP/likes Very into Poki up through her Paris trip, and then as soon as she got to Berlin, nothing. At least Soda at least gave him the time of day, actually saw them chilling at a party together. Which is what you're supposed to do when you fly half way around world and get the chance to be around people you never get to see otherwise. Instead she was glued to Hasan who probably lives 15 mins away from her.
So to sum up EU Twitchcon, Poki: - Made a beeline for the Greek/XQC/Soda crew pretty much as soon as she turned her stream on. Wanted so desperately to hang out with them. As soon as they decided to leave and ditch her stream, she decided that she was only streaming for about 20 more minutes. - Spent most of her time off stream with Hasan. - But made sure to post to her Instagram stories that she was sleeping with Kimi each night (got to keep up that image of being single). - Basically ignored Vader. Did see them sort of together on stream once when Esfan ran into them at a restaurant. Poki of course was sitting right next to Hasan, and Vader was sort of sitting near Poki at a different table. Obviously, this is all just observations from what I saw on the different live streams, but I don't think anyone in this thread expected anything different.
Great analysis. I have a couple more points that I think make the trend even worse. - The new OfflineTV Twitch stream channel seems to be struggling. It's only averaging 5-6k viewers for group streams. It was created to remove the drama around who got to stream group events (apparently no one shared the money generated by the steams, 100% just went to whoever's channel it was on). Before, the Mafia streams would get upwards of 30k viewers, and 10k to 20k seemed to be average for any group event regardless of who streamed it. I don't think any of the individual members of the house are doing much to promote it, which is probably going to create some tension behind the scenes. - Poki's 9k is being boosted by the GTA role play trend, the popularity of this will die out in a few weeks or so. Closer to 7k when playing BR games which is where she will fall pretty quickly to, and then probably continue the decline as BR games slowly lose popularity. The only way to truly stay popular on Twitch is to variety game and/or just be extremely good at games in general (ie Shroud). She is trying the variety game route (Last of Us for example), but can only pull about 5k doing that which is indicative of where she is heading. - Twitch overall viewership has increased during this timeframe. My guess is Offline TV attracted a very young audience from high school relationship stuff going on in the house and Fortnite being popular, and they've largely moved on now that both have died out for the most part. I don't really see them recapturing this audience.
Yeah, I'm kind of surprised he hasn't caught onto to the fact that she will completely forget about him as soon as the new fad appears on Twitch. Just think, when's the last time she did anything with Myth? Her stream and youtube channel used to revolve around him lol. Now its like he doesn't exist, crazy how quickly that friendship evaporated. Could it be because he went from 30k to 5k in the past year? She's not about building actual friendships when playing games on streams, she about upping her view count. There was one time her, Soda, and Greek were on a call. She was going on about how she is "gamer" and needed something new to play. Soda mentioned that he could teach her how to play vanilla World of Warcraft. She lit up so fast and jumped all over it, immediately said yes. And then a few moments later Soda mentioned how it had to be off stream, because you can't play vanilla warcraft on Twitch. Her tone changed immediately and she didn't want to play with him unless it could be on stream. That interaction kind of tells you everything you need to know.
Yeah, I'd consider what you just described as stream sniping. She is forcing her way into his story because its Soda and he's getting 50k viewers. It's one thing to run into someone at the Motel or Hospital, its another thing to then force your way into whatever they're doing and follow them around as long as possible. No chance in hell she'd be doing the same if the "Kevin" character was played by a random person on the server. And the thing is, I'd be perfectly fine with her doing this to some random person, because she not fucking up someone else's entertaining stream.
She is stream sniping all the big names the GTA server, its fucking annoying because she is terrible at role play. Could you imagine if everybody did what she's doing? The server would be aids, just let things play out naturally. Its like her and Andy Milanokis are competing to be the worst role player on the server. They can complain all they want about the community hating them, but when you blatantly snipe other streamer and have bland characters, the hate is inevitable. Either stop sniping or become more entertaining.
