Sorry if I'm wrong but Venus' primary language is Swiss German and hamster's gender in German is der/masculine, and since my native language is the same (Polish) I get where she'd be coming from if she was just gendering the noun in english because of how it is in her native language.
I may be wrong but in last video she said she doesn't have any adults except Taylor to confide in and ask for advice. Maybe it's just her way of asking for reassurance? Maybe she's looking for support and comments from her audience can give her that. I mean, I sure as hell would need some cheering up or confidence boost after a phone call like that.
Based on her snaps I'd say in Amsterdam. I like her, she's funny and has a nice personality. Even though I don't put on so much make-up her tips helped me a lot back when I started to really get into it (old subscriber here) and while her videos changed style a little I still like watching her (more often as a background noise nowadays). As for the drama, Here For The Tea did some videos on those.
Had the same thing with Cayleigh Elise, her videos are amazingly well written but I started feeling paranoid over the smallest things and since I live alone I had to unsubscribe and stop watching;; All of her and Dyke's videos are interesting, I wish I weren't such a scaredy-cat.
I don't think it's her fault, when I speak my native language I tend to speak in a higher pitch; when I speak English my voice unintentionally gets really low and when I speak Japanese it's kind of in the middle. Not sure what's the science behind this but I think it's quite common in multilingual people.
New video. Oh my, I was feeling really excited during the last part, I feel like we've gotten a small peak into their private interactions and they're really sweet together. I'm glad Venus decided to do more cooking videos, I'm sure making those chocolates took her a long while and the effort really paid off, they look great.
Not sure about Japan, but here in Poland father doesn't need to give his consent only when his parental rights were terminated. So either Margo hadn't written Venus' father in on her birth certificate (as e.g. "unknown") or she reduced his parental laws in court, though I think it's the first case here. Other than that her father must've given his consent (despite e.g. not being in contact with child for years).
