I feel like she should have done a separate video about dealing with loss if that was what she wanted to share with her viewers. Doing it as part of a weekly vlog felt very very uncomfortable and off, like "dealing with grief, oh and I got my hair dyed again!".
The couple times we've been to Japan, it was only ever in rural Japan that anyone even remotely looked at us with interest. Like we went to rural Kyushu so a good number of times we were asked where we're from or even why we were in that part of the country. But in Tokyo? A major world capital with SO MANY tourists? People barely even registered we were there because they're way more used to seeing foreigners. Especially foreigners taking photos of themselves haha. It just looks like the guy is taking a photo of the trees, not her. Or maybe so many people did want her photo, after all I'm not a smol special fairy so I guess I wouldn't understand 🙄
Joey is affiliated with TC - he's not listed on their influencer page but he's made videos for that TC Learn thing and has been in loads of TC videos. If it had just been them hanging with Joey and Aki I wouldn't have thought it weird, I forgot Joey and Felix are friends and that reminded me. But Emma also being there made me raise an eyebrow.
If you meant Pewds isn't affiliated then yeah I didn't think he was, I was just a bit curious about ALL of that group hanging out.
Anyone notice Marzia and Pewdiepie are hanging out with the TC crew a lot on this recent Japan trip? Didn't know they even knew Emma, Aki, and Joey and now they're with them in every other post on Marzia's IG.
I hate how Taylor constantly tries to be relatable, as if her viewers could afford half the stuff she's bought and paying a top interior designer and acting like she's giving people tips and advice and being relatable. It was like she was trying to flex a little. We all know they're loaded, I'd rather she just embrace that and actually flex showing off all the fancy stuff they do and buy instead of trying to act like it's all just normal. I totally wouldn't have minded a luxury interior design video, I do mind a luxury interior design video disguised as something her viewers can relate to or use.
All the examples they showed and including Taylor's home lacked personality. Nothing looked homely or like someone actually lives there. It was like a show apartment. Just so cold and drab and angular. Nothing looked cosy or warm or personal.
I wondered this too, like as if it's basically a channel network. By controlling the channels and their income then giving it back to them, technically that would count as a salary and work as part of the visa process.
It probably makes more sense for him to not make a video about it. If everyone's right and all the attention is what the terrorist wanted then making a video about it to his massive audience would be playing into the terrorist's hands.
Okano comes across as one of the most vain people I've ever seen. I said this over on Sharla's thread, but the whole Tokyo Creative thing comes across as a massive vanity project for him and the influencers he has involved. He talks and acts like some massive influencer but his channel and the TC channel aren't what I'd say are an influencer level of subs. He just completely rubs me the wrong way, he comes off so full of himself.
