Watching this while knowing what the song is about and listening to that forced child-like voice just feels so weird... Another thing is that she's actually talented when it comes to draw realistic stuff but when it comes to this kind of animations the mistakes are painful to watch
What I don't understand is why there's a lot of copycats, I mean I know it's because Belle became very popular and these girls may be starving for that kind of attention but still... the style is so overdone, it's not atractive at all and they just end up making a fool of themselves as just another Belle's sad copy, also some of them are getting hate because they're not at "Belle's level" (which is absurd since Belle it's a product of mere mediocrity) I don't see why someone would want that lol
In her latest video, I know the video is very her sense of humor and she's making fun of herself and her "kawaii doll" style but also she's talking about how she's preparing for the role in the play she's working at and it seems to me very unprofessional? it doesn't seem like she's taking this job seriously and also who wants this kind of video for promoting the play? She also seems very tired at the beginning, as some others have said she was not prepared for coming back.
One of my guesses is she maybe realised that she can't keep doing this forever? I mean it would be so tiring pretending that you look like a 12 year old at your 30's for example, as she grows old it could also affect her professional career I suppose. Whatever the reason I really like this change and hope she continues showing more of her real appearance.
Too much anticipation and in the end the video wasn't that interesting for me, I liked the edition but the intro was a bit cringey and had to skip parts of the painting process, also (unless I missed it) there isn't a take of the whole finished painting.
I wonder if she's getting paid to do this? Since her channel would eventually die because she doesn't want to make videos as Venus anymore maybe she was convinced by the person she's collaborating with or she took the decision to move all this Malice thing to her original channel since she was not going to use it as Venus anyway and it already had a large amount of subscribers. I'm also wondering if she's the one animating and editing the videos or she just gives the voice and personality to the character and leaves the rest to this person.
I share opinion with the ones who believe this is a joke, not 100% sure really but we know Venus has this kind of weird sense of humor. Something that bothers me it's the kind of reaction this is having on her channel since some people said they're not into this and already unsuscribed or are worrying asking if this is a manic episode from her. I just hope this doesn't affect her in a negative way if she was just joking about it.
Belle gives views to youtubers and youtubers are giving money to Belle it's like a mutualistic relationship (a chaotic one), the huge amount of money that these people are wasting on Belle just to gain views and how popular she's becoming makes me cringe so hard.
I don't watch Casey's videos so didn't realise that, but I'm not surprised since I agree with you that she doesn't have a personality, she only shapes it according to what it's trendy and to what she thinks it's going to get her views.
I don't particulary think that Taylor is the most suitable to make informative videos since she's not that good at research quality information and also believes in almost everything disguised as science, also she can't make that kind of videos interesting (imo). I really prefered her lifestyle, cooking and diy videos she did at the good old times.
I don't really care if they broke up as long as both are fine with that, I think that at least their friendship is sincere, they like each other and have been together during very hard times I just hope they continue to have this nice, friendly and supporting relationship. I'm gonna be honest and say that it was a bit hard for me to see them as a real couple because their interaction was a bit odd for a couple (this is by my perspective ofc) I just feel that maybe they were a little confused by the whole situation and acted according to it but now that they have spent more time to know each other a bit better they realised that they're not really that in love?
Long time lurker on this topic... I think that all this Jabberwocky Malice thing it's like a new way to express herself more openly and doing things that she thinks that don't suit her main channel, I was watching this video: And found a bit interesting the part that starts at 3:12, I know Malice it's just a fictional character and that I may be looking for things that aren't there but somewhat I think what she said there could also be Venus thoughts about why she created the channel, maybe under this fictional persona she's not afraid of being criticized of what she does since she's just on the backstage of the videos.
I agree with you about the haircut, it doesn't suit her at all, but these kind of videos show how it's unnecessary for her to edit her face since she actually looks very pretty, too bad she's mostly into giving a false image of herself also I think that despite needing a more practice she did a nice job as a correspondent.
