Where are this girl’s friends? Or family? Manaki? Anyone? I feel so bad for her. She’s clearly not okay right now and this is a cry for help.

I’ve seen enough of them to get a feel. And it’s my opinion. This is a gossip site.

I have a strong feeling she was and is the family favorite. Good looking kids usually are. Plus I’m sure old people think her “model” life  is as glamorous now as it was in the 50’s and 60’s and feel proud. Even though she’s done nothing but be born/get work done to do it.
Anyways, I do feel bad for her. Losing a grandparent is the worst. Anyone know what happened? Her parents and grandparents (dads parents) are REALLY young, especially considering Taylor is 30. Cant imagine it being natural?

    OT but, uh,
So...what’s the verdict on the sex work? Are we just cool with that now that she came and cried here? You guys are pathetic. We’ve got 3  prominent J-vloggers who we now KNOW have done sketchy shit to get where they are-and are probably doing shit illegally to stay in Japan. Why on earth are you still supporting them? Because they take cute photos? Jesus.

Just hopping in to say it’s now been over 3 months since I’ve watched a Taylor R video or even so much as clicked on her IG.  I literally could not give less of a shit about her unless it’s hearing about her sad life on here.
I’m only still here in hopes that her MC shit goes even more viral. But I won’t be clicking her videos or IG, giving her and her idiot disgusting self more money and I suggest you all do the same.
It feels great to know I wasn’t missing out on some wonderful adventurous life in Japan/HK because there’s no way in hell I’d sell my soul and body to some disgusting old man I can’t even speak to for it. I’ll stay poor and strive to save up enough money to check out Asia one day on my own. #girlboss , but really. 🙃

Alright. I’ve been watching this said so much I have to chime in. I’m no anti-vaxxer but Birth Control has been linked to a number of awful physical disorders. I suffer from one. Birth Control definitely ruined my life.
Please stop acting like BC is a godsend. It’s great for some, but has potential life-ruining effects that we’re just beginning to discover/talk about. If birth control did this to me I wish it was never invented because what I have is worse than having a baby in my opinion.
Sorry for off-topic but I am going crazy reading all of the HeR sIsTeR iS sTuPid BiRtH cOnTrOl iS wOnDeRfUl talk.

She takes naked or near naked/hyper sexualized shots for pay. Idk what you call that, but that sure sounds like it’s in the realm of sex work to me. MC also follows or followed her on Instagram.

Sure, but it’s still very much in that realm. People are also allowed to think it’s incredibly fishy several prominent female names in the J-blogging community are wrapped up in receiving money for their bodies or others’ bodies, in some shape or form. And their audiences are mostly young girls/they use an image that attracts them, at least.
People need to wake the fuck up. Sex work needs to stop being labeled as the new trendy thing to back up as okay. Hide behind nu feminism all you want, but no true feminist would be okay with using her body to get fame. What happened to using brains. All these girls preach #girlboss too. Lol.
I was wondering why Mikan stayed so quiet during the MC debacle. I’m just going to assume most girls living in Japan who are not teaching and are blogging/Instagramming are doing something similar now. Really has spoiled the whole damn community. Vomit.

I know this isn’t exactly Taylor related BUT I figured this is the best thread to post in what with sex work and MC.
Has anyone seen the shit going down on Mikan Mandarin’s thread? I swear to god all these J-vloggers are going to turn up as having done / having a connection to seedy sex work...Peach Milky, Taylor, and now Mikan.
What is going on-is this the only way to live in Japan or something? Are they all connected more than it seems? I’m so disgusted right now I don’t want to support any of them.

Holy shit I came back to this at the right time. Are ALL the J-vloggers sex workers/have a past with sex work in some way? Christ. It’s like a ring.

That’s what happened. She went from under her Dad’s care to her (Sugar) Daddy’s. :)

I was actually seriously asking. Thank you. I love Greg and thought he and Sharla were fairly close, so this is really surprising to hear.

    ?

    1. I have thought about that, but you really don’t see this type of behavior as much anywhere as you do in Asian boy X white girl relationships. But yes, the social media part is a big factor...just after that.
    2. The “quote” of mine. What? Yes, I didn’t say that originally, but it has no correlation to this “gotcha” bit you’re trying to do here.
    3. Nice pepe emoji. And you’re friends with people in interracial marriages? 🤔 “I know 50+ foreigner x foreigner marriages”...where do you live? That’s quite a number. Are they East Asian boy  x white girl, though?
I’ve said it 3 times now, but I’ll specify it for the people getting butthurt one more time and one more time, and one more time only. In my *****OPINION/EXPERIENCE***** marriages like Sharla’s, Venus’, and Taylor’s, are, at their core, marriages of convenience. The husband wants the sweet, sweet, white girl and her genes (because then he and his child will be put on a pedestal in Asia and now in the West too with the recent K-pop boy group craze), and access to the glorious west (read, America. Yes, I know none of them are American but for two of them ((Canadians)) their husbands probably think it’ll be easy to get to America via a bordering country. Canadians also sound almost identical to Americans) through the marriage.
The wife wants the same but reversed.
Sharla and her husband may have truly loved each other but the above is always there. I do feel for her. Watching her struggle through the video was heartbreaking. If KBS loves/loved her I feel the same for him.
I am not “hating” on White girl x Asian boy (native to Asia, not just the race) relationships and marriages, I am just speaking on a known truth.
Even Rachel and Jun, sweet and sincere as they seem in their videos, have said things in the past that support this idea.
it is what it is, people.
