We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
Billie Livestream with Chris Hansen Summary, spoilered for obvious reasons: Chris Hansen officially talked to the FBI on November 19th and gave them evidence. Things are happening as we speak, with all the local offices being involved. I don't know how long it will take, but this is the 100% truth: the FBI is on this case.
Quit or was fired? Who would seriously want to employ this self-entitled hot mess? I really bet she's lying about quitting. She was fired. Bri just thinks she's too good for plebeian things like earning a living. Pursuing "art and happiness" my ass. @blvck you called it. It's just more time for her e-begging. (On the bright side she'll be spilling even more tea).
What's been made very clear is that Chris knows a lot more than what he's saying in public. Like the evidence he definitely has on child porn charges. Chris is basically playing this out like a prosecutor would, but with the advantage of mass media publicity. He's laying out the evidence piece by piece, hinting at more but never saying it outright. Obviously this has a lot of advantages: (1) he knows he's going to freak Greg out and he wants that, since Greg might slip up due to panic or sheer stupidity, (2) by doing these very public interviews he's encouraging other victims to speak out now that they see how much support they'll get instead of just attacks from Greg's army, and (3) there are likely others who would love to take Greg down and will happily share inside info that they couldn't/wouldn't share elsewhere but Chris has a platform that's too big to resist. I would not be surprised if Greg and Kai were involved in distributing child porn since it sounds like their Discord was all about that anyway. The reason they never got caught was because it was very low key. They weren't on the child porn sharing sites that government law enforcement monitors or whatever distribution networks exist. Since it wasn't easily traceable, there wasn't a way to hunt it down. I'm sure they never even thought it was wrong because they weren't selling pics or some equally awful excuse. I assume he asked Regina about this because she was a mod, knew what was going on with other nudes being shared, as well as her own, which might give her a bigger perspective. But yes, I'm willing to bet that, as the evidence began to pile up, he knew that there's more. We may never know those details until Greg and Kai go on trial. Fun Fact: There is no statute of limitations for federal child pornography charges. Greg and Kai will never escape what they've done.
I'll go one further and say I hate unboxing videos. Why is that a thing? Like...maybe for people who've never seen a box before. Otherwise, no. Plus it's definitely glamorizing consumerism in an exceptionally stupid way.
Kenna is definitely shameless. A shameless liar, that is. The only reason Kenna's sticking to this finances lie is because nobody can absolutely disprove her. She continues to deny her nonstop use of filters and photo manipulation even though the evidence is right out there for everyone to see. Even when she got busted on multiple occasions for plagiarism, she practically had to be dragged kicking and screaming to make a (very fake) apology video. She really fought like crazy to maintain she never did a thing wrong. She will always deny anything that makes her look like less than a completely original, self-made, 100% natural success. It's a pathetic addiction and is a huge reason for most of her stupid decisions. If Kenna were half as smart as she thinks she is, she'd learn some humility at least. I'm not holding out for honesty.
Oh, I don't think that Kenna altered the words that are on the paper; I'm sure that's the result she got from that 3-hour appointment. I just think she probably left out details. (Which is pretty reasonable since I don't think it's such a great idea to share full medical documents online). But on a full document it would be very strange for there to be no recommendations for follow-up treatment since, as lots of people have noted, there's just not one single diagnostic test for autism. It's a more involved process that takes time. But then again I'm just going off of the kind of medical documents one tends to see in the US, so maybe in Japan it's different or therapist's documents are different.
I was so happy to hear this. Chris said you can evidently get 10 years per image and, if it's video, 10 years per frame for under-18 nude pics sent across state lines. I wonder if he's hinting that they have evidence of videos. Also wild that Greg emailed Chris about suggestions for other people to interview so that Chris could get more views. I thought that was just incredible. Greg really thinks of this as pure entertainment. I don't think Greg understands what's actually going on. He's always been a narcissistic psychopath but is it going to take the FBI knocking on his door to get him to face up to reality? He's so sick he just think's it's another way to grab some cash. I guess he'll need it for his legal defense fund...
The more I find out about this Dark Academia aesthetic trend the less I like it. The fashion is predictable and the books associated with it are laughably shallow compared to what actually counts as serious academic reading. And the Instagram feeds...just stop. People don't look smart just because they're pretend reading a pretty book in an old library, especially when 6 months ago they were pretty ~uwu~ pink princesses or hedge witches or whatever. And please, please, these people need to stop Googling famous quotes to prove that they're deep. It's just too much. (And hey, I enjoy Harry Potter and a lot of the Dark Academia-related books just fine but seriously...that's not the same as being a real academic. Let's be real).
I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt here and say that it was an emailed document that Kenna anonymized/altered in various ways. The lack of a clinic address is definitely weird, but the therapist is a real person, and the clinic is a real place, so Kenna would be taking it to the next level with this one if she faked the whole thing (trash talking people on the internet is one thing, but that therapist has an actual real world reputation to uphold and could face serious repercussions. Kenna would be playing with fire). I still think the most likely story is that Kenna went there, got a tentative diagnosis pending more thorough evaluations, and then omitted everything except the basics since that's what helps her most. I think this is more likely because Kenna loves personality tests and evaluations. She loved Myers-Briggs (which is fake but still, she obsessed over it). She always craves "proof" that she's different, and for her this is the best proof of all. She probably went into that 3-hour evaluation having read up on autism, did a self-diagnosis, and gave the therapist all of the things about herself that fit the mold and conveniently left out everything that didn't. Still, what you're saying is not something I can discount. If she really did fake it 100%, and you make a good case that she might have...then damn. Ultimately we'll never know.
