No problem. I think overall, everyone on this forum just wants to see a girl work her way up and become successful for the right reasons. I personally would find it so inspiring to see a girl just work hard on a game, and improve her gameplay overtime while gaining traction in her community. On another note, I saw Pokimane’s IG story and it looks like she will be involved in a League charity event? And with some offline tv formers also....
You said it right there. In the corporate world, people kiss ass yadadada.... I’m sorry, but I do not admire her success merely because she did not grind for it, just conveniently placed herself in whatever situation would earn her more clout. I feel the same way when it comes to business. There are so many individuals who are only in their position because of their personality and they do little to nothing for the companies they work for. They don’t understand what people have busted their asses for. Don’t get me wrong, I get that she isn’t the worlds worst person, but when women are still actively trying to be taken seriously and this becomes the face of female streamers... it’s a little disheartening to those who have put in the effort.
I like the outfits, except the last one, but man you guys are right about those clips. In some of the photos they remind me of those clips you get at a hair care store and generally use for styling your hair.
She never truly meant for this to be an apology, “This isn’t sarcasm, I genuinely searched this and thought it was funny.” Because you know, everything Kenna says is a joke guys. This is just another f-you to her followers.
I don’t think her hair color looks bad necessarily, but she clearly doesn’t have a professional helping her much. I’m scared she’s going to try to actually go blonde even though she has a wig for that. She clearly has an issue with cutting her hair since she was talking about how weird she looks with short hair in her wig shopping stream.
This picture really shows how different her IG photos are from candids. I don’t think she’s ugly, but her face is so round, her nose, mouth and forehead all look so different here.... wow the pose and edit is cringeworthy imho
I understand that, but it’s kinda like rape culture you know? People assume women are asking for it when they wear low cut tops and what not and in some way they are representing themselves sexually, but it doesn’t condone the behavior of the males. And to compare this to a non female male issue, it’s kinda like how we have “reinforced” safety precautions by encouraging children to look both ways before crossing the street, but if a driver blatantly ran through a stop sign and hit the child, people wouldn’t put blame on the child for not looking both ways. If anything I feel like the eThot generation really emphasizes the fact that so many women feel that they need to lower their standards to get their foot in the door or make money. I’m not condoning all of their behavior though either. In the stance of the body paint though, I do feel like you’re reaching. There is a lot of art that depicts nudity but it’s still art.
I didn’t notice this and I cannot believe this wasn’t edited out or blurred to hell. Either someone is being sloppy with editing or maybe one day “mom” will admit to the surgery. I won’t hold my breath though.
OT but, I agree fully with Birdie’s response. And just to add, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a different opinion and sharing it. No one was blatantly attacking you for liking her style and whatnot. However, in regards to the n word conversation, we are being easy on you here. If you said that anywhere else online, you are going to garner a lot of hate.
[OT] pick up a history book, please. Idc if she mouths it in a song, but it’s a negative word that is commonly used to describe black people in a disgusting mannerism. Do you realize that there are still HUGE racial issues for African Americans still even after all this time? There’s a small city outside of where I live where people are genuinely recruiting children for the KkK. I have mixed and full black friends who still get called the n word, Hell a few years ago my friend was in college and was with his white girlfriend and got separated from her and interrogated by the police because he was black and his skin tone, not height or weight or age, matched a description for a complaint. Maybe she isn’t racist, but she is not black either so she shouldn’t be throwing that word around casually like it’s cute or something. It’s ignorant as hell.
Simple, Twitch is no longer just a gaming platform. Also these girls have a tendency to pull in several viewers and that means more money for twitch.
It falls in the art category. I’m sure she had her nipples covered as she began. I understand not wanting to view this type of content, but it’s not as vulgar as you described it. There is much worse happening on the platform than just body painting. This isn’t a woman’s only chance to get ahead, it just gains traction quicker. I think it’s sad you think a man would never respect a woman enough to support her without makeup or cleavage. OT (kinda) Seriously though, it’s not the fault of an “E Thot” for the way some “men” behave. Even before Twitch, men have been making explicitly sexual comments to women without warrant or much worse. We shouldn’t have to conceal our interests or sexuality to be taken seriously. Likewise women who engage in more modest behavior shouldn’t have to give into their male audience’s desire for tits either. It’s the dudes and the twitch team who have created this disgusting standard.
