    • Be a moderator! & Reports Announcement   03/07/19

We're aware that PULL needs more moderation and attention, so we're actively looking to expand our mod crew! If you're a regular user and intend to stay this way, then rest assured that we're working on improving PULL for you. In order to do this, we rely on user reports, so I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everyone to report posts you think break a rule, disrupt discussion or shouldn't be allowed.  There is absolutely no concern over getting too many reports - we get a handful of reports per week. More reports would be great because it helps us figure out how our users want the forum to be - leaving criticism in threads doesn't make it easy for mods to find your opinions. Furthermore, don't worry about being a "snitch" or too harsh - a report doesn't mean action will be taken, that's up to the mods. A report really only tells us to look at the comment and to gauge the community atmosphere. Often times, peer pressure or established community atmosphere will dictate the direction a thread takes, and criticizing certain posts can be uncomfortable or downright futile when the majority disagrees with your view. This leads to groupthink and degradation of thread quality because the loudest/most active users get their way. So reporting is a way to quickly and anonymously (to other users) give feedback to the moderators. If we don't get this feedback, we think everyone's happy and there's no need for change. So use this feature as much as you'd like to help shape PULL into a more constructive community again. If you'd like to be a moderator: Click here for the application form.

Sigh, this again? Modern day Turkish people don't look like East or Central Asians, AT ALL. It must be extremely rare to see a Turkish person with facial features like that of the Japanese- I've personally never seen one, and I'm Turkish. I can assure you that Kenna looks like every other girl on the streets of Istanbul; dark wavy hair and brown eyes, medium to fair skin, stocky short build. She could easily fade into the crowd here.

That tweet about digging people's past does not apply to her at all. What a manipulative asshole she is to use it for her own defence when her scandals are barely 1-2 years old. She was not 13, she was not a kid then.
It was just around last February (I know the date because that was when I decided to sign up to Pull) when she was spewing bullshit about "accepting her paleness thanks to Asian culture" totally dismissing the blatantly racist and classist aspects of it. I noticed that she has somehow dropped usage of the "half-Turkish" card as of late, but I'm not sure if she's really come to understand the reason why she was considered insensitive and offensive in the first place.
Remember her remarks about being murdered by "druggies" in her hometown? That was in September.

Thanks to her, I hate the word "fam".

Is her waist edited to look smaller in the first picture?

I see she's at her favourite pastime activity again, that is embarrassing herself. Who writes that caption past the age of 10? Cosplay or not, her photo glorifies self-harm, which of course will and should not be tolerated. Good for Instagram doing the right thing for once.

She brings up the excuse that "it was a long time ago", but when reminded all was less than a year ago, says "I don't care if this happened yesterday". Transparent much? Obviously, these people are not genuine friends, nor they care for others' misdeeds as long as they increase their subscriber numbers and get a chance at being more noticed. I wouldn't expect anything else. It's just business for them. She definitely dresses better than Kenna and has a much refined style, I grant you.

    This is interesting.
Edit: I was trying to quote this comment by Junkfood, but I seem to have messed it up doh!

Okay, I had to sign up after reading this. First of all I'm Turkish (Anatolian), born and raised in Turkey. Second of all, her fans are a bunch of idiots. Technically yes, Turkey is still part of the continent of Asia, however, we have next to nothing in common with the peoples of Central Asia, and especially with the East Asians, whose aesthetic Kenna is trying to emulate. We consider ourselves European and mostly Middle Eastern today. I mean, Turks in Anatolia (except maybe ethnic Turkmens or people migrated from Caucasia) look nothing like the other Turkic peoples in central Asia, some leftovers of the shamanic roots and some old word here and there is all that's left.
And no Kenna, doing a mishmash of Middle Eastern and Indian styles and calling it boheme is still cultural appropriation, you're not excused because you're half Turkish dimwit. This girl truly gets on my nerves using the half-turkish card to get away with stupid stuff, as if there are not enough problems with the heritage being an ethnic Turk carries with, but I don't want to get into that here.
