We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
Maybe white-washing is the wrong term here, but she's definitely editing her skin tone to look paler than it is and editing her Moroccan features (nose mainly) out. Pls can we put this topic to rest it's been mentined to death
Agree with everyone here that from what we see Tim needs to start pulling his own weight/stop with his bs and that Lindy keeps fueling his toxic behavior. However I thought the cheating allegations on his part were just allegations? Sorry to go back on old news, all I know is that he came back from a supposed "ramen night" super late, but how did we conclude that he cheated?
Brewstew is a hilarious channel and I always know I'm gonna get a laugh out of new videos. His illustrations are so basic but it's part of the appeal I guess 😂 I like Eroldstory but as others have mentioned he seems a bit ott with the loud mic noises in an attempt to be funny.
The whole better help sitch leaves a bad taste in my mouth Just came from the general thread, I tried to compile information to add on to the summary post but it might not be sufficient. Not sure if there's any other huge controversies surrounding him besides that. He used to upload videos with super clickbaity titles back but so did every other youtuber and at least he eventually brought up the topic on the title. Then there was the patreon controversy discussed on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/DeFranco/comments/7ilm4c/phil_talks_about_his_recent_patreon_controversy/?utm_source=amp&utm_medium=comment_list Keemstar I believe went as far as to say that he panders to his audience by not stating his opinion and gives both sides of the story so as not to offend anyone? I don't remember where he said this and can't back it up with examples cuz I don't watch him too often 😅
Normally I would try to separate the artist from their work (besides extreme cases), for example I don't like Matt Healy as a person but I like his voice and enjoy some of the 1975's songs. Spechie is a proven tracer, takes constructive criticism as a personal attack and imo isn't consistent with her art. No reedeming qualities I'm shocked she's still gaining subs even if its at a slow rate
Sorry to bump this thread but I don't think this has been mentioned and I find it very useful for learning Cantonese! I go on cantoneseclass101.com and just listen to the free podcasts (I'm beginner level), don't have the money to subscribe haha. They also teach Mandarin on chineseclass101.com but I've never used it so can't comment, I assume it's similar. I'm considering joining a course for like weekly lessons or something but again need to save up for that. If anyone else has tips on learning please share or dm me, resources are so scarce, otherwise good luck! I know I need it
Okay this song is sooo messed up and straight up depressing, I stumbled upon it when I was on Spotify. My mouth fell open when I listened back to the lyrics. He raps about gangs, rape and murder proceed with caution Immortal Technique - Dance With The Devil
I think my hero academia is overrated and cliche. Granted I only watched two seasons but two seasons is enough for me. Everyone around me loves it and I really don't see why besides the nice animation but still, not for me
