We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
I actually have really enjoyed these more model-esque photo shoots. The closeups really make it apparent how puffed her face looks (why!!! she had a GORGEOUS bone structure before!!) but I can really see how she's a professional in those pics. Has she ever made a sort of tutorial on posing and picking the best features you have when taking photos? I bet that'd be a really cool thing for her to do.
Margo, I know you're reveling in Venus' descent from popularity like Elmo with the background on fire, but please know we still think you absolutely suck, that this probably stems from all the emotional abuse you subjected your daughter to (as an explanation, not to excuse her actions). PLEASE just stay in your lane and let her actions speak for themselves.
"#justice #manaki" c'mon dude are you even kidding me.
Leaving these in Private since it pertains more towards current events than Kenna herself- I want to try to stay on topic. But also, are we really surprised that Kenna is particularly mad about looting? Girl has her entire life revolve her things, her property, the things she buys. Of course she takes destruction of property seriously. I'm not particularly pressed about the companies themselves. Even Target was like "um, we're a million dollar company, we'll be fine".
Real talk, y'all know what scares me the most? I think she sincerely believes the stuff she says. Even with a mountain of evidence, constant flip-flopping between identities and weird tangents, I think she actually swallows her own delusions of grandeur to the point where she's SURE everyone else will. Because I refuse to believe someone whose internet presence has been recorded since her first scandal could keep lying like this, when there's a quick screenshot to disprove it. She keeps changing her own goal posts!
"Have you even been to therapy?" "(Oh I went to a psychiatrist and school psychologist, but those don't count right?) No lol I've never been to a psychologists' office" > a month or two later she's talking about being diagnosed with anxiety and her trips to a Japanese psychiatrist, mental health advocacy.
"Are you going to grow out your hair?" "(Ugh my hair feels really annoying on my neck today, must be because of my sensory overload!) Nope, I'm sensitive to it because of my autism, I'll keep chopping it off haha" > is pictured wearing dangling chokers with chains, has multiple photos of her hair being up to her shoulders for years.
I think she buys it guys. I truly think she does and that's why she's particularly annoyed with PULL. Sure, we nitpick, at times even unfairly in my humble opinion. But if people were nitpicky or cruel for no reason, it's easier to roll your eyes right? But because we keep bringing up a reverse uno card to the things she says (receipts et all), I think that's what gets to her.
Oof this was my thought too, doing any strenuous physical activity (such as cardio) with a waist cincher is big ol' no-no. It makes it harder to take deep breaths and worst case scenario, makes you pass out.
I'm confused to hear her say she had "0" friends two years ago. Wasn't Taylor there (and defending their friendship on youtube?), how about that one blonde girl from Europe (sorry, I'm not sure which country so I generalized the continent!), who she played up her "slightly sensual" pics with? Mikan? Jesus, no wonder they don't want anything to do with her. Venus strikes me as someone who asks and pleads and takes and takes to the point where you can't handle it anymore, and the minute you ask for space she dumps you. Pure speculation with a sprinkle of personal history here, but I see familiar patterns.
I'm sorry but stuff like this REEKS of 12-year-old edgelord (The images used, the way she tries to ~scientifically logic~ her way through it, the superior mocking tone. ). Also "religion is harmful based on no proven evidence" what a GEM of a phrase, as if google doesn't exist and you can't form your own opinion with MILLIONS of essays and studies on google scholar, books on amazon, etc. But why read when you can just spout nonsense on twitter and lap up the cheers of your neckbeards. It's like she's blindly following this train of thought to feel superior and morally right...almost like...the religious people she apparently scoffs at....Ahh, there's the orborous eating its own shit in a circle.
Me: oh there's a new Venus thread?? Well dang I thought things were quiet, missed a good 16 pages too, wonder what Venus is up t-
[cue gif of Troy walking in to the room on fire]
Ok, most people have said what needs to be said, but allow me to reiterate: yikes. Just plain old, good old fashioned, name-brand YIKES, my dudes. Why does she have to be like this. It's always extremes- she can't like cute things, she has to be the embodiment of a kawaii princess. She can't be into some darker sexy stuff, no, it has to be her entire content and personality now. Venus, baby, people have goddamn layers. You don't have to be One Thing and be defined by it. You can have all sorts of hobbies and interests because, guess what!!! That's what makes us human!! So why does everything have to be a pendulum based decision?? I will not armchair diagnose, but I suspect the answer to my question is mental health related.
Also, like everyone else, I gotta cackle at her hatred of "dead end" jobs. They're definitely not for everyone, which is why a lot of these creatives ended up going into Youtube, Podcasting, all sorts of cool but lucrative directions that helped support themselves. Venus, have you even tried having a "boring office job" tho? take it from me, it might not be Creative Bliss, but I LOVE being able to afford my hobbies and rent at the same time, it's my favorite. Just sayin.
So uh Isn't this her job?(Forgive me for assuming Kenna, since you refuse to specify what "work" you do to support yourself) Is she just going to drop her job because it's not engaging and pleasing enough for her anymore like What would happen to this woman in the real world ???
I'll be real, I was actually close to an impressed eyebrow lift when she asked to show the poem they think she copied. I would rather have that response than the one-note "sarcasm" she was throwing around, showing she does have SOME awareness of being polite. Ok, I see you. But her whole English Lit explanation sounds so hollow and still smug- I'm trying to figure out why. I genuinely feel she was trying to make an effort and explain herself, but her justification (correct or no) doesn't cut it for me. I have no leg to stand on, I have as much knowledge of poetry as quantum physics. Is what she saying correct? Can I personally be mad if she is, despite the weirdly condescending tone I might be projecting? Eh, I'm rambling at this point. Point is, I'm actually glad to see her try to speak politely (some of the things she's saying are things people suggested here even) but she's still blundering.
Happy 500 pages of a cringy spiral y'all. To think this started out as a mostly harmless cosplay model that needed to improve her crafting skills and stop taking slightly lewd photos under 18 to...."I am horny 24 hours a day and I have all the fetishes, boobs boobs boobs, here's an egg I'm shoving up my wazoo". Cheers.
Firstly he found her through Primik but wanted to introduce V to Brazilian audiences
It's a pretty shallow look into her life, I feel like they didn't really deep dive into it. Mostly covers early / old drama that was caused by her mom, all the way up to when Venus ran away to Japan- no Manaki divorce, no current weird half naked pics, no drinking. He in fact says she's her Real Self now and is very happy over footage of one of Venus' drunk livestreams which is WOOF.
There are also small inconsistencies peppered like when he says things like "living doll = lolita fashion" which makes everyone in the community want to commit murder, or how Venus met Manaki in Korea (wasn't it Tokyo Disneyland? when they first met in person?).
Anyway, conclusion: a very empathetic look but the drama is old and some facts incorrect. womp womp/
