I wondered about that as well, especially because there's soooo much chlorine in the water there and I can't imagine that being good on freshly bleached and dyed hair. I have the feeling it really will attack her hair or alter the colour quickly. Did she consider that...?
Or her way of advertising products. Or her regular upload schedule. Her video content. I guess she's lucky that she had so many great jobs already and that most times she had a really amazing team too, her current portfolio still should look pretty nice. I suppose she looks good at small events though? You know, how brands sometimes hire models to attend their events to show how beautiful and elegant (and rich) their customers are.
Kenna is such a fucking huge liar. She clearly filmed that "I'm all natural in this video!!!" video on the Snow app as well. There's a filter over it to change colours to something more pastel (no camera and no professional lighting will give you a pastel effect) and Snow has a face slimming tool that uses no obvious face filters like the Snapchat dog filter that she brought up as example. You can enlarge your eyes and make your chin a dorito chin without anyone seeing it because it only morphs your face without applying special effects. It's even the first options Snow suggests. And yes, you can film with that no problem. If you're not moving much and the filters aren't too extreme, the video will look perfectly natural. Because her chin is obviously altered in that video.
I don't think it's the boyfriend friend because if I remember correctly, they met with those in London and her best friend from the video is from Germany. That video here is definitely late because the video they had arrived in Osaka is from two weeks ago and I don't think they stayed that long.
I prefer the first version more as well. Aside from her looking more relaxed in the first one (second one is like... a photo from a PR event), the background is just... distracting in the second one. I also don't like that they're looking down in the second one, it's a kinda weird angle. Maybe she wanted to show off the dresses?
So she'll have two persons in the audience, one being Splenda and the other the fan who wrote this text and invited her... You can't tell me that any sane person would a) invite the current Yumi for her video content (DIYs okay, but hauls and fail cooking...?) and b) for the thought of Yumi bringing in massive amounts of paying fans because she has so many subs. Her viewers are children and creeps, neither of which will go to that tiny convention only because Yumi is there. Hope she's doing some live cooking though
New Osaka vlog, more Seventeen. Not exactly interesting vlog, at least to me, but the part after the concert makes me so impatient to be back in Japan in April/May and go to a concert again after 1,5 years of not doing so lol
They're honestly so cute, omg. Venus' reactions to the presents made me smile. Mikan: *in Kiddyland/Sanrio section* Come on, Venus, you're strong, just put it (the shopping basket) down. Venus: *puts it down but runs away, down the stairs, fake sulking* Mikan: And there she goes... *calling* I'm proud of you! Venus: *confused, still downstairs* Mikan: I'm proud of you! Venus: You're proud of me? Mikan: I'm proud of you! Venus: Yay! Are you gonna marry me? Mikan: Yes, I am! Venus: Yay~~ *runs up stairs for a tacklehug* My heart I love Harajuku dates, they're so much fun haha...❤️ /weak
The last update I heard about that in February I think was that they're focusing more on Jun's Kitchen videos for now because they take so much time and Jun puts in so much effort, so they don't really have the time to make videos for their other channel.
She brought that stupid soy "meat" up again earlier btw. She's really annoying me because her life exists either of her work aka Youtube videos or vegan food now. In a really weird, obsessed way. It feels like she's never just doing anything for the fun of it and she's always on social media. The weirdest thing about it is that she's frequently meeting with friends (?) and she's going out as well but it never really feels like she's enjoying herself? There doesn't seem to be anything where she doesn't think about work/social media at the back of her mind. It's so difficult to put in words what I'm feeling about her. When I watch her social media, it feels like a black and white photo got drawn on with colours, it all looks pretty, but there's nothing behind it (which obviously could be because of her depression).
I thought about that yesterday already, but it's kinda fascinating how easy it is to like Rachel's and Jun's cat videos opposed to Sharla's. I truly love Haku, Poki and Nagi, they all have amazing personalities. I never felt anything from Maro and Luna, idk. I don't really like cats with no personality, but maybe that's just Sharla being awful both at making videos about them and her also handling the cats weirdly. Maro always bored me to death in every video because all he did was stare kind of confused. I love Poki being crazy and Haku being chill but curious and Nagi is just cute and spoiled and demanding. Those three have enough personality to be entertaining even if they're not doing much, I can't imagine that with Maro and Luna at all. But maybe I'm just a crazy cat lady who had too many cats around her that all had special personalities and characteristics.
It's not like I actually was waiting for an update, it's just annoying that she always promises things and then nothing happens. And today is a slow Monday at work, so I have nothing better to do I can confirm that the cherry blossom season has started in Tokyo! It's not the "main" type of sakura as far as I saw on Twitter/IG, but the smaller ones, so it's probably gonna be full bloom around next week.
