I just popped in her to see the latest updates but BOY WHAT IS UP WITH HER IDEA OF BODIES? This photo especially. Girl, take it from someone who works out regularly. This is in no way possible, ever, in the world of Neverland. You can't have such glutes with such a stance, especially if you don't have any lift what so ever. What is up with this? Do people actually believe this? I'm sorry but I'm cleaning my tea from my keyboard at seeing this. This is pathetic. If you want to have an ass, get yours to the gym and work those glutes baby instead of trying to liquify it to your body in unhealthy proportions.
Gotta be honest, her caption says it all. Not from this world. Nope dear, you're right. This is Photoshop Neverland allright.
I'm another 'I've-watched-her-videos-on-and-off' comment-er, but I have to say this video really made me see Sharla in a different light. Like she mentioned, she's always super happy and sometimes everything felt really shallow. But, seeing how pained she was and how she was being completely vulnerable on the world wide web. She made herself personal, open, not the always happy person that never has anything to speak about. The situation with the cats is absolutely horrible and I think this is something she's doing very well in how she made the decision based on what is best for them, instead of moving them with her because she needed them with her. She completely gave me a completely different vibe, which is very good honestly.
Go Sharla, make sure you'll feel better first. There's nothing you have to do for us, your mental well-being is the most important thing right now.
Mm yeah. I have to say that a lot of content creators their 'friendships' always feel a little bit forced. I watched the video about the second photoshoot. I have to say I love the dresses and styling but I'm not blown away by the edited photos at the end of the vlog. And I do have to mention it: Rachel makes for a pretty good model in terms of how she does her posing. She's moves really elegantly and switches between poses in between the shots which is really, really useful when shooting. All in all I'm curious if those were the final shots (like: final final) or just some quick edits for in the video. Personally I expected a lot more .. diversity? Seeing those dresses, men. I cannot start about all the things I'd like to shoot with such gowns, lol.
I might be slightly late to the whole HIMR train, but I'm kind off confused about how he can pay for a shinkansen and hotel stay for over a week without seemingly doing anything slightly remotely resembling work? Is he leeching of his supposed wife? I've watched some of his videos on and off and I sometimes feel he can not be anything else than a parody channel. No one is stupid or anti-social enough to talk about certain private things online, post videos/recording of other people their homes (isn't this illegal in Japan as well as filming random people on the street?) and just in general, bash just about everyone who you've ever met in your life? I'm so confused about him as a person ...
I do not think I've cringed so much during a video since .. ever. 'I'm proud to be Japanese' and before that she was mentioning her Canadian passport. Girl, you good? Using 'we' to 'identifiy' as a Japanese person does not make you a Japanese person (by roots and background).
I'm currently zapping through her video and her voice-over seems kinda .. fake for me. Might be her voice and intonation, but .. not sure how I feel about it personally. If I see her comments and things on Instagram in this thread it feels like she is just trying very, very hard. The overly peace sign, awkward poses seem a bit .. hard to watch. If I would be walking through the park and see a girl acting like a 5-y/o I'd probably raise an eyebrow or two. You can be cute while not acting like a child. Take Taylor R her 2016 Autumn Lookbook for example, it's cute, simple, and not as fake feeling as Mikan her video. I just wish she'd just take out the voice over, put some nice music under it and cut to shots that are actually relevant (or more autumn like). I need some more visual attention, details, more autumn vibes. It feels like this could be spring imo.
I do have to say: From what I've seen so far on her outfits, these outfits are actually quite an upgrade regarding her fashion sense. I'd totally buy the cardaign as well myself.
Can we just talk about how huge and beautiful these places look? Also: We all knew that they have some money (I mean, 2DLK apartment in downtown Tokyo, house in Tokyo, big apartment in HK) but 2 places?! Damn.
But what is with this picture tho? Like, in all honesty, I do not fear anything and people should do what they want but I do not really think this is ... appropriate content for Instagram where they probably have a lot of followers? It seems a bit of a weird move to post something like this so openly if you ask me.
Okay, as a photographer I can see her appeal. But it just doesn't work out on the pictures. She feels super un-comfortable with who ever is shooting her by the way she displays herself on the images. It is almost awkward to watch. She doesn't have a lot of variety in expressions (which is a big matter of practise and experience) but if you have a great connection with your photographer you can make magic happen with who ever you are shooting. She clearly didn't have that vibe, which makes everything a tad awkward and .. dull? It's sad, because I love the second setting and the horizontal portrait of her is really, really nice.
On the comparison from Dakota her photos: It looks like they used way different costumes, the Snowwhite costume on Sophie looks so cheap and is off way less quality then Dakota her dress. The editing also didn't do anything positive for the whole image. Yikes.
