Hello everyone, As promised, we're working on some changes to improve the forum and community! So far, here are the recent changes: Negative reputation has been disabled. Upvoting remains intact. This is a trial run to deal with whiteknights brigading certain topics and salty users mass-downvoting users they disagree with. Some text formatting options have been removed. Some users like to format their posts in ways that make them harder to read or downright obnoxious. (Light colors, tiny fonts, etc), so this helps make threads more readable. If you find yourself needing post formatting because you're making a new thread, please contact a mod and we will make it happen. New threads have to be approved anyway, so you're not going to have to start out with an ugly thread. Text formatting remains available to all users who have supported us via Patreon. No more threads on "Online Personalities". We will NOT lock or remove old threads, but we won't approve new threads about people who don't have any history of drama or controversies. Some threads will be moved to the snowflake sections if applicable. Read the new topic guidelines before you make a new thread. Here are our works in progress: New categories will be added. "Little Snowflakes" is too broad of a spectrum, so we're going to sort our flakes into a few sub-sections to keep things organized. We will also make more use of tags for those flakes who transcend categories. This will also allow us to appoint moderators to specific categories or snowflakes. New moderators will be onboarded soon.
when I see American tourists they kind of have the mentality that wherever they go the culture, food, people, ect. Are also just like Americans, if they arent it's considered "weird" or "not cool/right because it's not "America"" and it's so annoying
I honestly dont see much wrong with keeping your identity hidden, or private, I actually respect that more because people think that you have to put everything out there to stay relevant (Youtubers are a good example of this) being private is apart of the mystery and psychologically humans dont like mystery and want to know or get the bottom of things. I can see both sides but I honestly think we should accept that hes private. People are different and I honestly feel a lot like how he does, I enjoy my privacy and people respecting my privacy even though people are interested I'll speak about it on my own terms and not have people do it for me. There is so much stuff on the internet and getting your leaked can cause a multitude of issues if it gets into the real world and such, Max and Chad mentioned before how on youtube it's harder to get a job because of the stuff they have created because employers look through it. Joji could be doing the same thing incase music doesnt work out.
Also I personally think Joji is a really good singer. There is a video by COLORS where he sings his song "Attention" with only the instrumentals, he sounds really good, as for in concert he sounds a lot like what he produces. Brian on the other hand doesnt, his voice is actually a bit more high pitched than he makes it seem to be (in his new song "Yellow" it sounds a lot to what I heard in concert)
I dont think Joji is married, engaged, personally he doesnt seem like the type of guy who is really looking for someone (even though people think that his music kinda shows that he wants someone in his life) like someone said previously, it could be just a fashion statement, I think it can also be because he couldnt fit his ring on his other fingers or preferred it to be on a specific hand to feel more comfortable. Japanese is one of the hardest languages to learn even for native speakers they dont remember all the characters even for simple words, there are videos by That Japanese Man Yuta (a native Japanese speaker and lives there) who goes out and ask people what this word in kanji is or what is the translation of this kanji ect. And most of the people dont remember a lot of the kanji or knew little of it, I dont blame him if he lost some of his Japanese while being in America, I lost a quite a bit of my native language of German when I moved overseas and didnt use it often anymore. I think Joji does know Japanese because there are videos of him talking, singing, joking in japanese, even Rich Brian mentioned how the thing he loves hearing the most is Joji speak japanese because he doesnt do it often and it's kinda "refreshing" As for Joji's quote I don't think hes proud of the stuff he created on youtube but he is proud of what hes done with music and how far hes gotten. I don't think you have to be happy about everything you've done in the past, a know 90% of most people arent happy of what they have done or said in the past but I just dont think he was happy doing his youtube stuff after a while. People think he complains about his condition but to me its valid, plus we dont know about his other condition on which he touched on in a interview with Vice. I use to know someone who had stress-induced seizures and he wasnt able to hold a job, graduate high school because he had a lot of seizures from stress that landed him in the hospital almost had a couple of fatal seizures. Imo, it's not complaining when you have a condition that can kill you at any moment even without you knowing (i.e. the tragic passing of Cameron Boyce of a seizure in his sleep). Not trying to sound like a die-hard fan who cant handle criticism towards him but I just wanted to give my input in things.
I met george, hes very chill and friendly, hes not really into people spotting him or going after him, but if you talk to him normally and calmly hes very chill and nice. I just dont think he likes being crowded a lot. Personally I had a small chat with him, hes cool and I dont get anything bad off of him.
Citing Biased news articles doesnt help with provding proof because people will change wording and situations based on their political agenda, money, and based on their viewer demographic. If you want to bring good sources make sure to look at websites that arent biased or use biased websites of both sides and multiple different websites from different countries talking about the issue. There are a ton of international news articles that have them in english talking about world news. I think focusing on news that focus on your political agenda is toxic and not open minded to what other people think. Even if you agree or disagree it's always to good to get multiple sides of the story.
I mostly mean how society literally thinks that all people who are autistic are low functioning. I'm also autistic and people always try to make it an insult to me like I'm low functioning without me knowing i.e "what are you autistic lol". I'm high functioning and when I tell people I'm autistic I always get the whole "wow I could never tell your so normal" ect.
I've moved around a lot (I'm not comfortable with saying the state but I lived in a lot of areas in the Atlantic and South)
unpopular opinion and a fact: Autism is horribly betrayed in the media (Except for that 1 netflix show) most of the time they make people who have autism seem like they are mentally handicap and can't function in regular society without someone to help them. It makes me sick having people think that anyone with autism is just someone who is mentally retarded almost and not a functional person when infact there are plenty of high-functioning autists who live their day to day life normally.
I'm white and I never had an issue with my skin color until I moved to the u.s. I was constantly being called a nazi or a jew killer ect. they would do the seig heil to me and put 2 fingers on their bottom nose to look like a hitler stache and call my family jew killing nazis (my family never even killed jews even during the war) for my whole life it got to the point people broke into my house because I was a german immigrant and also just constantly bullied me for being 'a little nazi' 'hitlers daughter' i dont think whites can have racism towards them but i do believe whites can be discriminated a lot
The Iranian law about being able to transition is a blessing for trans people but fucked up for people who are gay. People think its progressive and it is for people who actually identify as trans but people who want to be their biological gender and gay its a death sentence if they refuse it. You have to be forced to do the surgery if your gay even if you dont want to or its the death penalty because it is illegal to be gay in Iran. Also its not completely paid by the government even though it is a government required surgery. I wish people did more research about the subject before thinking that its a amazing thing, it is if your actually trans but hell if you identify as cis and gay
I'm glad Cry still follow Pewds on Twitter even though they may of not talked often, it's good to see that he still supports him even though they havent collabed in years, I remember when they had a livestream with cry, Ken and him and they were all chilling having a good time. I'm glad cry is finally getting the help he needs and acknowledges that hes been needing help and that he will get better with time. That's really hard to accept personally to yourself that something is wrong and that your gonna need to fix it with time so I'm glad hes continuing going to therapy and starting YouTube again
I honestly get so tired when every male cosplayer thinks that when they crossplay they are gonna look like sneaky or pyro when thats not always gonna be how it is and then they get mad at their MUA's not looking fuckable
disney only cares about making money hence why they are pulling the diversity card. if they actually cared about diversity they would of made a new movie, literally the princess and the frog is a prime example of what disney should of done if they want to make it seem like they are being 'diverse', showing POCs, with most of the casting being POC, showing an example of culture and also history as well I-
