    • Be a moderator! & Reports Announcement   03/07/19

We're aware that PULL needs more moderation and attention, so we're actively looking to expand our mod crew! If you're a regular user and intend to stay this way, then rest assured that we're working on improving PULL for you. In order to do this, we rely on user reports, so I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everyone to report posts you think break a rule, disrupt discussion or shouldn't be allowed.  There is absolutely no concern over getting too many reports - we get a handful of reports per week. More reports would be great because it helps us figure out how our users want the forum to be - leaving criticism in threads doesn't make it easy for mods to find your opinions. Furthermore, don't worry about being a "snitch" or too harsh - a report doesn't mean action will be taken, that's up to the mods. A report really only tells us to look at the comment and to gauge the community atmosphere. Often times, peer pressure or established community atmosphere will dictate the direction a thread takes, and criticizing certain posts can be uncomfortable or downright futile when the majority disagrees with your view. This leads to groupthink and degradation of thread quality because the loudest/most active users get their way. So reporting is a way to quickly and anonymously (to other users) give feedback to the moderators. If we don't get this feedback, we think everyone's happy and there's no need for change. So use this feature as much as you'd like to help shape PULL into a more constructive community again. If you'd like to be a moderator: Click here for the application form.

    - Boy With Luv was a decent song, but Halsey was just background noise. She didn’t ruin or add anything to the song, she was just there lol.
    - The b sides were nothing special. The b sides in Persona sounded pretty bland compared to their past b sides, but Home and Mikrokosmos were probably the best b sides imo.
    - I honestly don’t understand the hype and craze for BTS anymore. Their music is just generic and is beginning to sound like the same shitty 10 songs you keep hearing on the radio over and over again. It just baffles me that the album got over 3 million pre orders.

Knetz are probably gonna dig up a demo of Kill This Love that featured CL lol. That Ra papapa or whatever sounds like something CL would say during a song.
But in all seriousness, Kill This Love was Mediocre. The styling? No. The dance that was choreographed by “world class” choreographers? Boring. The b side tracks? A mess. Mixing rock and hip hop never really works out. The D4 remix? An overproduced cluster fuck of noise. All in all, Blackpink’s new ep was just disappointing. The only redeeming thing about Kill This Love was the mv and the flash mob scene at the end of the mv. They should really make another As If It’s Your Last type song.

    - NCT 127’s Japanese tracks sound like rejected Exile tracks.
    - Everglow’s debut song was very generic, but it’s growing on me.

Honestly who cares? People have a right to disagree or agree. Getting downvoted means nothing. It’s just internet points.
unpopular opinion: Kid Icarus Upraising was the best 3DS game and it’s sad that Nintendo will probably never touch that series ever again.

    - TXT’s debut wasn’t fantastic but it was pretty good.
    - I Wanna Be was a great song and Soyeon was a good addition to the song. I’m not a huge fan of Soyeon, but her rap fits the song perfectly. Aside from Soyeon, the dance looked fun and energetic, and Key looked like he was having a good time.
    - I’m kinda shook that Juri left AKB48 for Woollim. I really hope she succeeds in Korea, but she’ll probably get attacked for her gravure modeling.

Mukbang ASMRs are the worst. Like how the hell can people fall asleep to a person literally chewing in their ears??

I’m not gonna lie, the girls had great vocals but It didn’t feel like kpop. Like singing in English with no Korean members feels like regular pop music. Their company is probably using kpop’s trendiness for clout.

Z-Boys and Z-Girls are most definitely gonna flop, but I have a feeling Z-Girls will do a bit better. But all in all, I doubt the projects will last long. Like these weird kpop projects without Koreans never last long. Exp edition? Gone. Honey Popcorn? Gone.
Also I’m surprised stan twitter didn’t go on a witch hunt for Sid after he said the n word on ig. And what made it worse is that he locked up the comments and deleted the caption without apologizing.

It’s really bold of Block Berry to say that Butterfly has “new beats and drops never heard in kpop before.” I mean it’s just basic edm/future bass. Edm and future bass is literally what everyone in kpop has been doing for like the last two or so years lol. In seems like Block Berry doesn’t want to look like they’re following trends lol. But with all that being said, Butterfly was a great song.

Piri was probably Dreamcatcher’s worst title track. I mean, the song alright, but compared to What, You and I, and Fly High; Piri sounded like it was missing something.

I didn’t really expect to find Pentagon’s new Japanese ep in the US itunes store today but omfg Cosmo was such a great song. Hui’s and Jinho’s vocals really shined in that song.

Naming your kid after an idol is a huge yikes from me. I’ve seen a few comments from armys saying something like “at least the baby was named after a UN speaker.” Yes, Namjoon was a UN speaker, but that’s doesn’t change the fact that this baby’s mother or grandmother or whoever is probably a koreaboo.

Gekyume sounds like a rejected Dragon Ball Z character.

This is probably a popular opinion but I don’t really care. The show Hello Counselor needs to be banned. A guest on that show casually admitted to molesting his own son, and then he went on to make a fucking joke about it. This is so fucking disgusting like why???? Also why are idols even on that show? Reactions? Does KBS think that idols are experts on mental health or something? God I hope the boy is alright and is away from his father.

I enjoyed Cherry Bullet’s debut, but I’m a bit disappointed that FNC only released a single and not an ep. But other than that, Q&A was a great debut track. It was very bubble gum pop (that’s a good thing lol) and that MV was pretty aesthetically pleasing for the most part. But my only gripe is that the members’ dancing wasn’t really in sync. But all in all Cherry Bullet’s debut was solid, and I’m definitely keeping an eye on this group.
