I don't like the way she does her eyebrows now tbh. The color matches her hair, but it looks so harsh at times. Other than that, I agree with what everyone else is saying about her vlogs now being so much of her boyfriend in them. I like when they show glimpses of her work, so the painting video was a nice change to see how it developed until the end.
This is an old vid I watched where she addressed the question: Q&A: How Long Will I Stay in Korea? In the video she said only for about 3-5 years and now it seems like that will turn out to be true since that video was back in 2014? In her recent vlog it seemed like she has been hesitant to settle in Korea for a while now seeing how she got a bit emotional. She also seemed a bit homesick... Imo, in her case, I also feel like the glamour wore off as she was so enthusiastic about the entertainment industry in the beginning etc. But she also said she's moving in a couple of months so does that mean she's not leaving Korea? That would seem like so much to do if she's not staying... Whatever she does, I wish her the best though.
She's brought up this point in another video, where she said even in university she had a lot of guy friends and how people thought the same. While I don't see her as acting as if they all like her, a lot of people may interpret the interactions it differently.. like in the comments section. Aoora is also like 31? So that's one person who's older than her. As for "itadakimasu" thing and the Da Vinci exhibit, yeah it was pretty ignorant of her. I also skimmed through her Japan vlogs and she didn't say it there either.
Yes, all majors take a lot of work. I never said you did. It's just the way you come off as and phrase things; thus, the reaction you're getting. My previous comment was more towards education than anything, but people have brought up some of your points on here and other websites as well, no one is ignoring them.
Uh, I wouldn't necessarily say that getting a degree in engineering isn't difficult. From the uni I attended many engineering students have to take required courses, get a certain gpa and another score before they can even officially request to get into their specific program of choice. It may be different at other places, but it doesn't seem easy (especially for programs that are highly competitive) and would take a lot of work. Your observations seem to be a bit farfetched... She seems fine, and doesn't really have to prove anything? Plus her videos don't really have anything to do with her education/etc., they're more casual in tone, so it doesn't mean that she's incompetent. As far as her constantly falling for scams, what were they? The only one I remember was the drama audition one, and that was from years ago.
Her reactions to the models posing in the vintage store were a bit overdramatic. Their interactions with one another were a bit awkward, but that's understandable. Maybe it's just me, but for some reason I don't really mind Aoora?
Yeah she renamed the video. The original title was "Eng Sub! Ugly is Ugly! 我丑耶！Full Video Without Any Makeup! Whitening Skin" Definitely fishing for compliments. From where I left the video up with comments still on it, she only responded to one. Can anyone translate?
I listen to the GazettE and A9 every now and then. But when I was really into Jrock I listened to them, SuG, Gackt, LM.C, An Cafe, Golden Bomber, D=OUT, Miyavi. My all time favorite band was ViViD (Yume ~Mugen no Kanata~ PV was so pretty but 69-II sold me), but then their songs started to get soft and then they disbanded... Pretty much mostly vkei etc. but then some other bands like school food punishment, and Galileo Galilei.
SHINee was one of the first groups I liked when I got into kpop back in '09. I kind of fell out of Kpop a bit over the years, but this really hit hard. I found out the news after browsing around another thread on here and thought it was some sort of sick joke. Then I went on another site looking at the featured posts sidebar and breathed out a sigh of relief when a post on his death wasn't there, but then I scrolled down... It still doesn't feel real. If we all feel this way I cannot imagine how those close to him feel. It must be so painful.
