The thing that bothers me the most here is her lack of planification in all ways, I'll put this into spoiler bc is long and just a bit of an example for what I think it would have been the best to do. (and maybe it can help any wanting to do the same)
Either press or sculpted nails are about the same price most of the time, and youre right, each deco you put on it cost X depending of the salon, those are glued-on deco, maybe it could be about 3-4€/each (im talking in euros because its the currency im familiar with in this business, as i work doing this kind of nails too lol) and yes, it can be done without any problems, but my guess is that no salon would do that unless she was already a client; that would be loosing money, and without knowing what products the other salon use It could be even dangerous: for example if the adhesive they use( salon B) can not be used over X material (used in salon A). ( im not sure if im explaining myself properly) Plus, if the nails were already done, at least she should have got a refill, because im sure no one is paying a lot of money to glue some decorations in some nails that has more than a week or two ( considering you should refill/change them each month) Of course, if the salon she went to, just want money and doesnt care s*t about their clients, none of what ive said would be the case lol
So, just to put a number to all this work, lets imagine she got them all done the same day in the same place, where i live, that would be about 90€ ( 106 dlls ) at least.
Yeah its childish and all, but kinda cute and pretty much in the " kawaii colorful aesthetic" thing BUT This kind of work is expensive AF... I'm just annoyed by the fact shes spending so much money on this kind of stuff, knowing that she'll complain sooner or later about not having enough $$ for whatever thing she "needs" instead of saving a bit, idk...
As a beautician, the reason her eyebrows give this *feeling* is because : 1- Her eyebrows are not even close to her natural shape, so ofc it looks like something is missing because it is! 2- Even if the lenght is the "correct one" her natural eyebrow bone is lower than her drawn eyebrow so instead of creating that soft look, its just spock's weird. 3- Its recommended for dark haired people to makeup their eyebrows about 2 shades lighter than the hair (and for light hair to do the opposite). This avoid harshness (unless you want that look) and flatters almost everyone. This said, she picked a GREY toned shadow for doing that, wich is only used in blonde people, not brunette, black ...not even with gingers (unless their natural hair color has any grey on it) 4- Because of her makeup, she is creating a weird ilusion, where her eyes are too wide, her nose too long, her face too oval (those bangs...god, theyre not helping her)
And wearing this makeup / trends / styles / aesthetics has nothing wrong BUT the thing is to know your features in order to make them work.If you want to jump into the asian stuff go ahead but there are several ways of making straight eyebrows playing with your arch, lenght eye makeup... not just plain shaving them and painting whatever you see works on others.
And Im saying all of this when I myself follow this trends, and Ive wore the exact same hair and brows for years i hope this also helps anyone thinking of following this style of eyebrows
Kind of OT but bringing it back because the leg thing annoys me sooo much. I have this " bended legs/ feet" problem shes faking ( luckily its not very pronounced ) and yeah, it might look kinda cute (when its not causing damage /walking problems), but let me tell you something, kendladlin, spreading your legs like you just walked off a horse ride without any saddle does not make your pose look cute . we know your legs are perfectly fine ( and with a nice shape i might say) and its sad to watch your weaboo trash at this point. Try bending your legs like that while having your toes and ankles together... oh and without those granma skirts! lol.
