    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

Hi, I'm a bit new to this whole posting thing, but this cosplayer really bothers me.
They go by Chaosity (insta / twitter), and she's mainly popular within male idol fandoms. She, together with her partner (?) Ash are a part of an idol cover group called Re:Star. A lot of their drama is verbal, so unfortunately I don't have many receipts.
Anyway, some examples of blurring, with her real face for reference.
Additionally, Ash has been darkening their skin quite a bit for some cosplays.
    Now, for their drama.
While they often cover it up, Re:Star started as a three-person group called Baby Star Batteries. BSB was a rather short-lived group, created mostly so they could start getting their foot in the door at Holiday Matsuri. The third member, who isn't very relevant, just happened to be a higher-up in Holiday Matsuri's staff, and they mainly recruited her so that they could charm the con chairs into letting them start guesting consistently.
This, unsurprisingly, didn't work (as they have to apply to dance in the normal, plebian show, boohoo), so Chaosity and Ash kicked the third member from the group and became a duo. While I've shown their blurring and skin darkening earlier, I have to mention that Re:Star doesn't even do their own choreography. Which, honestly, isn't very unusual in idol dance cover groups, but they give absolutely zero credit or reference to the original choreographers' work. While that is typical in Love Live and Idolmaster cover groups, it's much different for things like Idolish7. Idolish7 does not have official choreography, and all choreography is made by fans. This makes their use of others' choreography, without credit, art theft.
Additionally, they're very self-centered and elitist. At Holiday Matsuri 2018, they were given two performances in the IdolFes (a special event for idol cover groups to go and perform—any cover group is allowed in) because another group dropped. The entire weekend, the two of them were talking only about how much Holiday Matsuri loved them and how hard it was because they had to change two whole costumes and other nonsense. Any time the topic strayed away from them and what they were doing, they were quick to redirect themselves back into the spotlight. They also entered their costumes into Holiday Matsuri's costume contest, won an award, and proceeded to enter the same costumes at a later Florida con.
All in all, there's shittier people around. But man, these two are so goddamn annoying.

I honestly feel like she doesn't think about anything. Posts like these make me wonder if she goes out, sees something she wants, and just buys it on a whim. Or thinks a few words and immediately goes to post it. There's no way she puts any amount of thought into anything.

It looks like she's really going through it. I understand what it's like to want to warn and give advice to other people, but... I don't think it's very wise to be doing this kind of thing on the same account that tweets every time she sells porn. It's probably falling on deaf ears anyway, considering her audience on that account is not exactly there to hear her thoughts and feelings.

Why does she look so... sweaty in all of these pictures?  It makes it look like she actually put work into this set LOL As if that's even possible

I bet Bowsette isn't even gonna be popular enough next month for people to want to pay for her to cosplay it. And even if it is, then I'm sure people are gonna do it for free before her.
All of her cosplays look the same, anyway. It's just gonna look like Lucoa part 2...

It's so refreshing seeing her bullshit finally coming to light a little more in the cosplay community. There's so many more people now who associate her name with shit, and I'm just glad that she's starting to face some of the consequences. Of course she's going to try and be a victim, but she's left a bad taste in so many cosplayers' mouths with this that right now it seems likely that she'll have a lot of fallout.
I'm glad the cosplay community is starting to bring a lot of bad folks to light. It's about time people are held responsible for their actions.
(Also, I'm dying re: her AX badge being taken away. Imagine if she'd already booked a hotel and everything, and now she's just sadly sitting in an empty room because she doesn't know how to keep her hands to herself. LMFAO. Bye, bitch.)

I rolled my eyes so hard when I saw that Sky paid for a shoutout. Of course she did. Of COURSE she did.
