    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

I didn't like nor dislike her and her brand before, but I'm surprised that she is so shady. I didn't know that there was so much controversy revolving around her, including the plastic surgery lies (I only heard that she didn't post makeup done by male MUAs). She could be worse, sure, but the fact that Huda preaches "diversity" when it comes to her line's marketing but then doesn't acknowledge dark-skinned MUAs annoys me so much. It's cool if you want to provide a wide shade range, but don't use POC inclusion as a marketing strategy.
    P. S: do you have any receipts when it comes to her being homophobic?

    Karuna Satori
Youtube // Second channel // Patreon // Instagram // Tumblr (NSFW) // Younow // GuruGossip Thread (for more receipts)

Karuna Satori ASMR, also known as Sarah, is a 26-year-old ASMR youtuber. She does mainly roleplays and NSFW videos on her Patreon. She's a mother of two kids.
On a Daily Mail article about her, she's revealed to be a former drug addict. Now she's on treatment. On 2015, she had her kids taken away after she hit her husband. In the GuruGossip thread above, people from her town claim that she has multiple charges of harassment. According to a user named Karuna's Stalker, also known as John, she had her kids taken away by the authorities due to threatening them with a gun. (John is banned from the forum now though since he posted revenge porn of her).In 2016, she made an Amazon Wishlist for her children and begged to her subscribers to buy the gifts. Some people have criticized that action because of Karuna's income in YouTube (which reaches $2000-$2500), which should be enough. She's been accused of wasting all her money on high-end makeup, clothes and tattoos instead of using it for her family or rent/bills.Some people have claimed that they paid $50 for a customized ASMR video from her and never received it.In 2014, she made racist tweets after the Super Bowl. She begged for money to supposedly fix her teeth. Around the same time she was supposed to get it, she got a boob job instead. People accused her of using the money that she asked for to get a boob job instead of her teeth fixed. She claims to be "poor," yet has money to buy high-end makeup. She claims this is because she grew up rich and isn't good with management of money.

Is it me or they look like this (except for the purple skin)?

Expose yourself: confess your guilty pleasures
So there's a topic in this forum about snowflake guilty pleasures, which I relatively enjoy (even I watch some of Venus' videos in moments of boredom). But there isn't any about musical ones. Let's expose the heck out of ourselves and reval our guilty pleasures when it comes to music.
    I'll start with mine:
Basically, any famous song of the Backstreet Boys.
I usually listen to 70s-80s rock and techno music, but when I'm alone and nobody can hearm me, I jam the fuck out of I Want It That Way.

Let's be honest: as much as I hate Lime Crime, I admit that the products are super pretty and totally suit my style. It's such a shame that the company itself is so shitty.

I don't know if any of you watch her, but apparently, Karuna Satori made some racist tweets in the past. There's a GuruGossip thread about her where you can find more.
EDIT: so I lurked a little bit on the thread and apparently, she's known for being an scammer. There have been reports of people who requested a personalized ASMR video from her for $50 and never receive it. She also seems to have abused her husband and being sued for harassment. I leave the link above, but I'm considering starting her own thread. So disappointed on other ASMRtists for supporting her.

So apparently, Ulta has started selling Lime Crime products.
Obviously, a lot of persons were complaining in the comments. And I was casually scrolling when I saw this...

  8. Fitzherbert added a post in a topic Beauty trends you wish didn't exist

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Bratz trend annoys me so much. Is someone's choice to do it, sure, but I personally find Bratz so ugly and bland-looking (ball-jointed dolls > Bratz). TBH, they look like pocket-sized Kylie Jenners. And is it me or most of people who participate in this trend don't end up resembling the original doll in any way?
Also, the baddie looks with full contouring, shit tons of foundation and blinding highlight... NOPE.

I'm glad that there's finally a thread on this! I always have to hide the fact that I like ASMR because people think it's weird and creepy, hahaha. Anyways, here are my personal favorites.
    - Gibi ASMR. She does mainly roleplays, sometimes inspired in pop culture (Avatar, Pokémon...). She also does a few trigger videos and has her own characters (check out her Daisy series. It's great).
    - Jade ASMR Garden: one of my favorite underrated artists. She does roleplays mainly focused on different jobs (surgeon, doctor checkup, plastic surgery, etc). Her audio quality is great and always gives me tingles.
    - Articulate Design ASMR: another underrated ASMRtist. He does professional roleplays too, and I love the way he includes different triggers.
    - Angelica: she's not the kind of ASMR youtuber who has the most expensive microphone and camera in the market, and her quality can be kind of crappy if we compare it to other ASMRtists out there, but the reason I love her channel is her creativity. She does always amazing roleplays of fictional characters or historical figures and puts an awesome job when it comes to things like accents and acting. If you like history or literature, be sure to check her out.
I like other ASMRtists like Ephemeral Rift or Gentle Whispering, but the ones above never fail to give me tingles.

  10. Fitzherbert added a post in a topic Toopoor / layla shapiro

Since this thread has been inactive for a few weeks, I don't know if any of you have seen this.

So apparently she made a collab with Dollskill. I'm kind of disappointed that brands and retailers prefer to use pseudo-goth wannabes who think being poor is an aesthetic as models rather than persons who have been preparing for this kind of jobs for years. Anyways, Dollskill is overpriced af and I didn't plan of buying from them even before Layla appeared here.

She also did an event? with Ashley All Day, a rapper. And I would understand it if she did music or art, but... What's the point of inviting an IG "model" to an event? What did she do there? Sell her broken nails and pillows?
What really annoys me is her constant usage of the "broke" aesthetic, calling herself "poor" and pretending to live with a low amount of money when she can afford an iPhone 8 and Louis Vuitton clothing while people are sleeping in the streets.

  11. Fitzherbert added a post in a topic What makeup style do you prefer?

I'd say that I love weird makeup. I'm not the kind of person who wears makeup everyday, but I sometimes do it as a hobby. I'd say that my style resembles Kelsey Ann's one (from the Kat Von D Artistry Collective. Video below). Gradients and gloss are my favourites.
I found the inari look cute too, but I'm more of a person who wears extravagant makeup. A brand that suits my style, for example  is Lime Crime (even though I'd never buy from them for obvious reasons.)

  12. Fitzherbert added a post in a topic Most overrated/underrated singers?

Overrated: definitely BTS. I respect the fact that they've made themselves a place in the Western music world being a Korean group, but personally, they sound like any other American boyband except for the language. I understand that some people may like their music, but I bet that if they were a bunch of white boys singing in English half of their Western fanbase wouldn't give a damn about them. And don't mistake me, I've heard really good Asian singers and bands, but for me, BTS is overhyped.
Underrated: I'd say Mitski and M.I.A. Both are pretty good alternative artists. My personal choice is Stevie Wonder. I just like old music. Japanese pop and rock from the 50s-60s is so good too.

  14. Fitzherbert added a post in a topic Overpriced Brands

Where's the lie? Dollskill has some cute stuff, but the price of their clothes makes me sick. If you lurk a little bit you can find clothes and accesories at reasonable prices, but there's no way I'm spending $70 in a "vintage" The Who shirt that you can find in a thrift store or in your parents' closet.
I think that it has been mentioned a couple times here, but So Aesthetic Shop is also overpriced as hell. I've found most of their stuff in AliExpress for half the price.

His smile reminds me of the masks from The Purge.
To be honest, I've always found him very unattractive and regular-looking. He has the same looks as all these bland white boys (the Dolans), except for his ethnicity.
