Gosh I feel so bad for Lily especially because you could tell that she really loved him. Looking back at all the stuff that was brought up in this thread like the relationship videos she made, that weird drunk twitter spam of her confessing her love, and that comic about her wanting to get married... shits sad man. She's doing a great job of making it seem like she's fine but damn I truly hope she'll be okay... I really can't imagine the betrayal she is going through right now.
They're such a pretty couple like it almost looks fake y'know. Like they're just two really pretty people and seeing them next to each other doesn't seem real LOL. They're really cute but I cringed so much. I can't stop looking at their heads... the difference in size is really funny to me lolol.
She seemed like she could've broken down at any point during her Coachella performance. She really needs to take a break for her mental health and I don't think touring and Coachella was a good idea tbh.
An unpopular opinion, but I think Coco looks really cute (plastic surgery and all but whatever). I never really watched Coco's vlogs before but I watched her recent one about her store and the one thing that irks me is the way she acts. Her face is cute but the way she acts is super cringey. I don't know if she's like this in other vlogs, but in her recent one it really shows since she's interacting with a lot of fans.
Honestly, I hope she doesn't end up moving. I actually watched most of her vlogmas and she seems so much more genuine and interesting when she's around her siblings/family. She also seems a lot happier living with her sister.
Yeah the whole Princess Nokia thing um. The flow sounds similar even though "7 rings" honestly is more similar to Soulja Boy's flow in "Pretty Boy Swag", but in Princess Nokia's case I think the whole copying issue is more on the flow + the lyrics since both talk about hair plus the similarity in the repetitiveness in the chorus. I feel like this whole thing might just be a coincidence, and it is unfortunate in Ariana's case, but I can't help but feel super sus about her and her team... I definitely understand why Princess Nokia feels this way especially because she is a WOC and her song is specifically about WOC and their hair. I honestly can't wait to see how Ariana's team will handle it lol. I also wonder if Soulja Boy will speak up more on it too.
I also think that using Chinese and Japanese characters wasn't a jab at Kris Wu directly, but the problem is that her and her team is using it in the first place. And for what reason? The only one I can think of is just for aesthetics. I'm honestly just tired of people who aren't Asian using the Asian language just for aesthetic purposes. I didn't notice the Japanese for the parental advisory portion at first, but the "imagine" characters in her mouth makes more sense if it were in Chinese. If it were Japanese it would be "imagination", and in Chinese it's just "imagine".They probably intended to just have everything in Japanese but fucked up at that part. Also, I don't think the user was conflating the two languages... Japanese kanji originated from Chinese characters, so it can be hard to differentiate the two since they're very identical. A common mistake, but not really offensive.
The whole Kris Wu thing irked me too, like it just made her and her team look super xenophobic. Also, she then decides to use Chinese characters to promote her new single Imagine? Even if it wasn't a jab at Kris Wu, which honestly I don't think it was but the timing is incredibly close that she shouldn't have done it in the first place, the whole use of using another language just for *~aesthetics~*/clout or whatever is so dumb. Now we have a lot of Arianators changing their screen names to Chinese characters and even having it being mistaken for Japanese cause Ariana is so into Japanese culture. Gags. It just rubs me the wrong way.
Her art would be so much better if she just drew through the form rather than drawing head-on. She's not thinking about what she's drawing as a 3D object which is why everything tends to look so flat. Drawing flat isn't necessarily bad especially if you intend for your stuff to be flat, but her style implies that things exist in 3D so it just ends up looking off. Just my two cents.
