    • Be a moderator! & Reports Announcement   03/07/19

We're aware that PULL needs more moderation and attention, so we're actively looking to expand our mod crew! If you're a regular user and intend to stay this way, then rest assured that we're working on improving PULL for you. In order to do this, we rely on user reports, so I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everyone to report posts you think break a rule, disrupt discussion or shouldn't be allowed.  There is absolutely no concern over getting too many reports - we get a handful of reports per week. More reports would be great because it helps us figure out how our users want the forum to be - leaving criticism in threads doesn't make it easy for mods to find your opinions. Furthermore, don't worry about being a "snitch" or too harsh - a report doesn't mean action will be taken, that's up to the mods. A report really only tells us to look at the comment and to gauge the community atmosphere. Often times, peer pressure or established community atmosphere will dictate the direction a thread takes, and criticizing certain posts can be uncomfortable or downright futile when the majority disagrees with your view. This leads to groupthink and degradation of thread quality because the loudest/most active users get their way. So reporting is a way to quickly and anonymously (to other users) give feedback to the moderators. If we don't get this feedback, we think everyone's happy and there's no need for change. So use this feature as much as you'd like to help shape PULL into a more constructive community again. If you'd like to be a moderator: Click here for the application form.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm also 19 and I enjoy listening to kpop -- however, we can all agree there's something off about pretending you are hooking up with your fav artists and doing yellowface to cater to them. It's really just an obsession with the guys themselves, and not so much the music.

they just seem like girls that took their kpop phase too far and it followed them into their 20s... like i don't know what to tell you if you're a grown ass woman fantasizing about your kpop oppars

Maybe it's just me, but her jaw doesn't look a slim as it does in her instagram pictures. She's still a beautiful girl nonetheless. And that outfit is really unflattering, she's thin but why does it make her look so bulky?

I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't like her, but her self deprecating jokes seem so forced. I like how she edits her videos and the aesthetics of it, but there isn't much substance to the content itself I would say. Like what makes her so different from any other broke college student aside from the ~*aesthetics*~

Just noticed that as well. She has had history of severe mental health issues in the past and she's openly talked about it before but I don't know what happened or what the last straw was

First off, I never once made a statement saying she was blatantly racist as did nobody else in this thread (that I have seen). I just don't really understand why she never takes accountability for liking problematic racist tweets that were clearly directed towards Kris Wu. The problem with her is that she allows her fans to behave this way, and does not do anything to stop it.

I'm Chinese as well, but I was stating that i find it ironic how she got salty over a chinese artist doing better than her with charts, yet she wants to emulate the "kawaii uwu" aesthetic with japanese writing . I didn't mean to lump two different cultures together if you took it that way. My intention was to point out that L that she clearly can't take

so she supports disrespectful/xenphobic behavior towards an east asian artist but is currently profiting off their culture

I never once said she was not korean or any less korean because she was adopted. Let me rephrase what I meant to say.
It rubbed me off the wrong way, because I figured if she was raised in a white family, she was also grew up around white people. I find it cringey whenever Asian Americans try to reclaim derogatory terms like g**k, ch*nk. It comes off as trying to appeal to white people to be funny, and ironic. I would compare it to "cooning" but she isn't black. But like you said, she has the right to reclaim it -- I personally find it off putting.
