To be completely fair @swoomzie you did use aggressive language, which hurt your chances. I don't think most people would want to form a contract after being called out for something, especially if you're right.
Armchair psychology alert: fans like to think Midori represents the "bad" fans by constantly emailing, and since they don't there's no way they could ever be such a Midori! She's cute, and she lets the fans have someone to dislike while affirming there's no way they could ever be that bad - someone to feel superior to.
So you think my edgy idea is distasteful? It doesn't fit? Just plain don't like it? Must be because you're a triggered offended SJW! Something makes you uncomfortable? I don't have to pander to your feefees! Aka every edgy idea is only rejected because SJWs or morality police and not because of anything reasonable like "gratuitous edginess" or "it doesn't fit" or "it doesn't make sense."
I don't think this one was a stolen model, but it doesn't look refined or princessy at all, just... wrong. Her hair looks like caterpillars or worms. Is it just me, or does Kizana's voice sound too old, mature, and smooth for a high school girl?
I keep seeing this, so I just wanna say... There are multiple problems with Osana, but she's probably not the martial arts club leader or a former one. That was just a fan theory that doesn't really seem to fit with her "incapable" or "weak" self defense (I forget which one it was). The theory exists because Dev said a new line about Budo Masuta inheriting the Martial Arts club from the previous leader after defeating them and something about having a crush on a girl has something to do with Osana. More likely, Budo wanted to impress Osana or something else, but I really don't think Osana is the martial arts club leader. Also, Kizana's hair model and profile picture looks awful. She doesn't look regal or princessy, just weird.
Fairytailfan666 usually defended Eva to the bitter end but got disillusioned somehow and made an anti-YanSim subreddit already linked here and joined KiwiFarms I think as princess1234567 or something similar. (She previously had an account there as crazypie132 when she was still a fan.)
I feel Alex makes uninspired, generic, anime tropey designs or amalgamations of characters fitting a trope more often than direct ripoffs... I feel we're looking too hard for ripoffs in everything. Things look like a ripoff because that's the generic design for x category of character, and he chose to make a generic design. It's easier to accidentally create a character who looks exactly like someone else's if you pick a common design. Ripoffs are things like Nemesis looking exactly like the photo he took "inspiration" from. As far as I know (I live under a rock when it comes to pop culture), that's not a generic design, so it's probably not him randomly ending up with something looking similar due to lazy character design; and he explicitly said he took "inspiration" from the picture. Osana's gradient hair is also a ripoff. Twin tails are common on tsunderes, it's the fact that it's the same colors and gradient - more uncommon - as some other anime that makes her hair a ripoff. The art club leader is just a generic anime boy who happens to have red hair and glasses. That's not all that uncommon, so he's probably not a ripoff of 707. Vanderwood and Osoro do have similar hair, but Vanderwood came out after Osoro was designed and that's a common hairstyle for "tough" characters. If a character looks extremely generic, they're probably not a ripoff.
No, Saikou Simulator is an amazing mod that's actually implementing rivals by Tyolyl Schmobop. She's also the modder that made it possible to play as a male student, so Dev asked her how and copied what she did without crediting her.
