what is it with koreaboo white girls/FTM wanting to be asian men and why is it so common? i know it has to do with fetishization but i very rarely see white men/MTF pretending to be asian women

anyone else think anime (as a whole) is trash, but love the aesthetics? i've always been inspired by the art style, but very rarely do i find series that aren't totally banal in terms of plot and characters

i'm sorry but sex work (of any kind) is not and will never be sexually liberating for women, under any circumstance. especially since the vast majority of women who enter the sex industry do it as a last resort. the sex industry is made to cater to the male gaze at the expense of women and it's been this way for THOUSANDS of years.
i find it so fucking weird how during quarantine, things like OnlyFans are promoted to young women under the guise of ~reclaiming your sexuality/confidence/body positivity/etc for money~ if sex work was truly empowering then why aren't men encouraged to do the same? why are men never told, "hey! access to your body is a positive thing!" gee i wonder why this lie is only fed specifically to women?
i'm not saying women who choose to do this are in the wrong, but there's literally no dignity in giving away the rights to your body for monetary gain and people need to stop acting like this is "slutshaming." third wave feminism was a mistake lmao

if you're white passing, what are the chances that people would ask where you're from??
honestly people would think it's weird for someone who looks white to identify as asian and you'd end up being asked even MORE questions so it's best to just say you're middle eastern/jordanian. the thing i'm most confused about is how anyone can mistake you for both russian AND japanese? those are two very distinct ethnic groups lmao

i think the reason why she's so popular is because her editing style and "relatable" personality are consistent, doesn't flaunt her wealth like other big YouTubers, stays out of politics and drama, hasn't had any major scandals, doesn't talk much about her personal life, doesn't wear makeup or dress up in most of her videos (therefore her teen girl fanbase isn't threatened/intimidated by her), etc. she keeps it safe and that's what contributes to her YouTube fame in my opinion

i've always wanted her to release a piano ballad album, i think that would really showcase her voice and solidify her as a vocalist. idk how much longer i can handle this pop-r&b "yuh bad bby girl :3" dumbass aesthetic.. girl you're pushing 30 grow up already!

DNA kits are only good for people who don't know anything about their genetic history. that's why they're so popular in the US because most americans (white, black, and hispanic) don't really know where their roots come from due to colonialism and all the immigration/race mixing throughout the centuries.
if you already have an idea of where your family is from then it's a HUGE waste of money. she's paying $100 for a DNA test to tell her what she most likely already knows lmao

People only think men age better because a lot of women's beauty centers around looking/being "youthful"

"simp" is basically the male version of a pick-me but people (especially men) keep using that word incorrectly to refer to men who are nice to women ??? which is sad and corny lol

i couldn't care less that a known scammer and RAPIST got scammed out of $30. my only issue is that bri now has a (somewhat valid) excuse to victimize herself which is what she's doing on twitter. y'all.. PLEASE don't stoop down to bri's level, she's a narcissist and manipulator lol once she gets a taste of her own medicine, she will use the sympathy from her followers for her own benefit.
