Mapetu, how do you know that Splenda is visiting and calling? I agree from looking at the case that a lump sum was paid for child support, but there is nothing in the case that even remotely indicates that he has been visiting and calling. Where are you getting this extra information, or how are you related to Yumi/Splenda to know that he is visiting and calling?
2016 ... so you’re saying the poor child had to listen to Yumi playing and madly giggling in the jacuzzi bubble bath in her red bikini whilst Splenda filmed her and instructed her like “why don’t you sit dowwwn sweetie...” and “push the button behind you baby...” for the ‘My Night Routine 2016’ video? Gross gross gross. #PTSD
^ which is what I’m trying to explain. Different parts of the world, different standards of humour. What Mikan said to Venus - we wouldn’t even bat an eyelid if we heard that, cos it would never be construed as being ‘mean’ or insulting over here. Have people seen the video Venus posted ages ago of her reacting to haters comments? She can handle herself so there’s no need to get offended on her behalf, especially if she’s already said that she’s ok with Mikan.
Am I the only person who didn’t think Mikan was being mean to Venus at all in the maid cafe video? It’s kinda normal in Australia for friends to savagely make fun of each other, I assume this is the British sense of humour as well. It happens at my workplace too, we are sarcastic af and make fun of each other all the time (we even make fun of the boss and he does the same to us), and we laugh it off and then give it back to them times 10. There is no malice in it. People who aren’t close to each other won’t make fun of each other, so it’s almost like a sign of friendship when you can do that to one another. So .. maaaybe it’s different in other parts of the world, but Mikan’s sense of humour seems very normal to me.
Venus is also good friends with Taylor, so she doesn’t have to rely on Mikan to tell her what a normal friendship is like.
it was on her ‘14 clever cleaning hacks will save your life!’ video (with the thumbnail of her cleaning her shoe with egg white). I’ve just gone back to look for the comment and it looks like Yumi has deleted it.
Omg yaaaass finally we get something that kinda resembles an origin story. She even calls him by his real name and he’s all over the video! And holy shit look at the size of the diamond on that Tiffany ring?? It’s like almost as wide as her finger. What’s our estimated cost??
^ I agree. I watched it last night and I felt so bad for Greg. Pretty much as soon as Norm started talking about how flamboyant Greg was, you can see Greg’s mood slowly change and he definitely wasn’t happy anymore and never really recovered from it at the end of the convo. The fact that Greg even included the text in the video asking his viewers for their opinion also suggests that Greg didn’t agree with what Norm and Sharla were saying about him. I wished so badly that Norm would just shut the fuck up but he kept going on and ON and trying to back-track, and Sharla agreeing with Norm. Why does Greg surround himself with inconsiderate people like that?? He deserves so much better
if you go to the ‘Taylor and elbowsans relationship’ thread, you’ll see that a lot of people were actually supportive of their relationship. Even in this thread, there have been heaps of people who believed in the relationship before the engagement. So unless you’ve been keeping track of who was supportive and who wasn’t, then I don’t think you can so easily accuse people of jumping over the fence and suddenly being supportive lol
If Elbow-san has proposed, then I’m really happy for her. She’s been watching everyone move on with their lives (getting married, having kids) and she seems to really want that for herself too. She was probably happy on the outside seeing her best friend get married and her little sister having a baby, but sad that she wasn’t experiencing any of this in her own life (well I certainly felt sad for her). So I’m really glad ES has finally proposed :)
