If you google "tape stuck to front door, robbery" or something like that, a bunch of stuff comes up about robbers taping doors and windows so they can see when people are home and not (exactly like what Taylor was explaining). She had every right to be scared! Definitely should have contacted police though...
I LOVE HONG KONG TAYLOR! I can't believe I'm actually saying this but.... I'm so excited for her vlogmas this year! I think it's going to be really interesting and fun, and I'm actually looking forward to more content from her. Reaaaally enjoying these HK vlogs, not gonna lie.
Why does she always wear t-shirts now? She has a closet packed full of such nice clothing and she just alternates between the same few t-shirts and a couple different sweatshirts. I miss when she used to put a lot of effort into dressing really nice. She has a lot of money but she dresses like a broke college student. But I must say, her current makeup is so flattering for her! And I loved how she wore her hair down and wavy. The low ponytail with the awkward outgrown bangs hanging in her face is not a good look in my opinion.
This is a huge step for Taylor, showing her old pictures and acknowledging how different she looks (didn't admit to any surgeries, but with the way things have been going lately, I can honestly see a video like that coming sometime in the near future). She also recognizes and seems genuinely disgusted with how skinny she used to be! She said that she was under 100lbs/45kg (and remember guys, she's 5'7/170cm) and that she was so skinny she didn't even get her period. Also, she said that she went "too far" with it, which really makes me wonder if she used to have some sort of eating disorder... I'm not suggesting she did, but I'm just not sure what else she could have meant by that. I'm glad she's healthy and confident now!
Edit: So I was just browsing the comments and I guess Taylor hasn't changed all that much. She's still defending herself when people say she looks different. New era, same excuses: lighting, angles, makeup, the "photographer's" photoshop (Tay honey, we know you used to shoop your selfies 100x more than any photographer ever would). What about the cosmetic procedures? That could be the reason why you look so different... lighting and angles and whatever can only make so much difference.
I'm so excited and happy for her! Everything is gonna go uphill from here, just wait and see. This is definitely going to be the best thing to happen to her channel (since the Kylie Jenner boots video that is... ) Yooo Taylor, we're all sticking with you and support this decision.
Maybe it's just because I don't watch Game of Thrones but I don't get the humour in this. I don't know anything about this Jon Snow so that's probably why I don't get the references but still. Didn't like this video. Sorry to be late to the flag topic, but I'm from North America like Taylor and in her defense we don't learn any other countries flags in school. I get that it's common in Europe and so on but Americans are kinda selfish and entitled (like "we don't need to know anything about the outside world" type) Just look at Americans -- most can only speak one language (unless born into a bilingual/ethnic family) and then go around traveling to other countries expecting people to speak English and not making any effort to communicate in the native language and so on (I could use so many examples but you get the point). Like I'm in my mid twenties and I can only recognize a handful of flags to be honest.
Maybe I'm just crazy but I don't see any obvious photoshop or editing. Smoothed skin maybe and a tiny bit of eye enlargement (possibly?). She looks so pretty! And so human! I adore this new natural Taylor who accepts herself as she is. No crazy photoshop, no alien eyes, no unnaturally tiny jaw and chin. This Taylor has potential to go far. I know I said this a few posts back, but I'm really looking forward for what's to come for her.... I see lots of success in the near future and I couldn't be happier!
Yep. As suspected, the different makeup was for a job. A 16 hour shoot to be exact.... wonder what it's for. Since she's been back in Japan she's already had a commercial and now this shoot. I think since she dropped the circle lens/doll makeup dysmorphia and got more comfortable with her own appearance (she's not relying on photoshop or after effects anymore), she's getting back into modeling. Her agency must be happy! And I'm happy for her too. She seems so much more positive and motivated when she's actually working (I don't count her vlogging as "working", sorry!).
Oh and what's up with the Japanese in the tweet? I thought she dropped all thing Japan related. Maybe she's actually working on learning Japanese and becoming more serious about modeling! I'm looking forward to what this all means for her. I'm so supportive of all this. You go Tay!
