The top itself is fine but yeah the skirt is 1. Too long to show off her legs more (if she wanted that) and I’m not sure why she decided to go with that shoe/sock combo with this particular outfit because again, it makes her legs look short. But like Mochis said, the angle itself is not that great and it would be better if the pic was edited brightly to not show every curve and indent of her stomach (because it doesn’t seem like it’s all abs). She’s still pretty; just unfortunate styling and angle.
I’m not really sure what else she could talk about? It doesn’t seem like she goes out that much with her friends (highlighted by her dependency on Albie and Temmie) and she streams for a living (but I haven’t really seen her talk about how hard streaming is lately; only that she misses it—do you have examples?) She seems to like posting those little comfy comics so I don’t think she should be really berated for doing something she likes. Maybe I’m not using my brain enough, but what else do you think she should talk about? And as a side note—she’s not exactly skinny for an Asian girl (definitely not 100 lbs lol) so I’m sure she’s dealt with insecurity and body image issues, which is probably why she made the comment(s) about being “fat”. It would have been nicer if she thought about how her words could have affected viewers, but girls also tend to say stuff like that a lot more if they compare themselves to Kpop idols and the like.
Was the big supporter Dan or Danny or something? I remember people talking and saying that she would always let him back into the discord despite people not wanting him there, so honestly that’s kind of a result of her own bad decision. Jessica just has some old beef (2-3 years ago?) with Kpop Twitter where she was a big account and said some things (I don’t remember exactly what) that were apparently transphobic and racist—but I remember when I checked out the thread that “exposed” her, a lot of the quoted or proof tweets had been deleted. If anybody has screenshots from that time it would be great! After the initial “exposing” she deactivated or something and made a new account @vantaekim, which was soon discovered to be her and she left Kpop Twitter again. She was also doing some translating under @rosoidae (I am not sure when she started this account) and people said she mistranslated things to make Jimin (from BTS) look bad. Then she left Kpop Twitter altogether and jumped to anime Twitter, where again people found her and had a bit of a witchhunt (I think this was when they found out about her bf and owning @‘s?) I don’t know what happened between then and now, but she started streaming a few months ago and hit partner really quickly. Not sure why her @shibuiai Twitter account was suspended unless it was a mass reporting by ARMYs, lol. I don’t have a good impression of Xina or Lindy, and can’t comment on Yeona other than the drama with Adrian—but if he didn’t like it, he could have not donated and not given her money. He’s not exactly blameless when it seems like he just wanted a Twitch girlfriend. He was a top donator in Xina’s stream before they started dating too.
Tbh I think Jana should be getting most of the flame for this because she’s the one who made the comment and ran in the first place...of course that doesn’t excuse Jaime’s laughing+not calling Jana out, but it seems like Jaime is getting a lot more heat just because it was her stream. She probably shouldn’t have streamed the apology since she cries easily and people would give her flame for that too. Anyone know if she got a lot of donations/bits yesterday bc of it?
Most of this is pretty known already, but is the small streamer you’re talking about LindyChii (or something similar?) Because shes not innocent either, lol I believe Adrian_Chang on Twitch donated about 80k total to her, not 50k. And I’ve heard that his now-girlfriend (withluvxina, a streamer too) was known for basically stealing viewers from other streamers when she first started out, and some call her a gold digger. Who was Yeona’s other mod? Was he a big donator in Lindy’s stream as well?
Yeah Jessica was the person in the whole vantaekim drama, and I vaguely remember her boyfriend saying that she never owned the @bangtan or @jimin usernames. I don’t remember what his account is, so I can’t confirm this, but apparently some people also accused her of owning @fluff, which he also denied. Anybody else remember that tweet? Her original username on Twitter was @iovekth —> @vantaekim —> @rosoidae, if I remember correctly.
https://www.reddit.com/r/BeautyGuruChatter/comments/bn0sbv/bye_sister/en1aayg/ Here is a tl;dr if anybody doesn't want to watch the full video. I'm still watching it, but so far she's been very level-headed and explained all of her actions pretty well?
I might be reaching, but it seems like the last bout of stress and depression really took a lot out of her. Maybe it's taking all her energy to put out videos and she can't interject any of her fun and chirpy personality into it? It does seem like depression affects her a lot and I doubt she jumped back into Youtube all cured and ready to go. But I also miss her more upbeat and interesting/chatty videos compared to the ones she puts out now.
She's been pretty open about being Malaysian-American (knows some Chinese, made Haianese chicken on stream) so I don't think there's anything to doubt. And not that many streamers are Korean; Fuslie and xChocoBars are not Korean but still pretty popular?
I’m assuming she just meant she completed 2/4 years of her degree, and maybe just declared her major. If she was chemical engineering I’m pretty sure there are some basic engineering or chemistry classes that she would need to take; most of the time GEs take about 2-3 years to finish depending on how you schedule it. And generally four year universities don’t offer an associates unless you’re going to a community college, right? (At least at my four year university I’ve never heard of someone getting an associates while there) tldr I think she just means that she took 2 years of college as a chemical engineering major, which isn’t really wrong. By the end of your second year you’re supposed to have declared your major anyways. Of course she’s dumb for milking it even though she never completed it or took upper division classes, but she’s not completely wrong for saying it.
