more & more was a massive step down from fancy and feel special, its just a generic tropical house song. it isn't bad but really feels like dance the night away 2.0. kind of disappointed because i was expecting much more with zara larsson and MNEK on the track... but oh well.
secret numbers debut was very disappointing, the song doesn't go anywhere and has absolutely no power! besides jinny, the girls vocals are really bland. i'm happy to see the first indonesian idol but her accent is super strong, you can really tell its a foreigner singing; i especially don't like her who it is/who is this line, its just super unclear and i can't tell what she's actually trying to say? they clearly had quite the budget because their outfits are not cheap and neither was the mv set, but the song really fell short to me. their b side is way better and gives me blackpink vibes. out of the three girl groups that debuted that same week (secret number, red square and woo!ah) i think secret number actually had the worst song. woo!ah and red square's debut songs were miles ahead of theirs. but of course secret number is getting most of the attention because of the girl crush concept and jinny and dita have quite a large fanbase already.
haven't seen this posted in here yet. cool to see the girls are able to take criticism positively and actually i really agree with what johnny was saying at the beginning of the video dani and nicole had a lot to say and they actually seem quite sweet, they had a lot to add to the reaction while chunseo and coco literally sat there singing along. coco is lowkey annoying, she said "I'm sorry but this isn't a cover.. its a remix I think!" girl, clearly there was so much wrong with the song that it needed to be improved beyond recognition..
johnny isn't really problematic enough for his own thread, but i'll never forget when he posted this chatty video where he was eating a bowl of rice and STUCK HIS CHOPSTICKS VERTICALLY into the rice oh my god......
lanas group performance on produce camp. a lot of backlash over this because they won over other groups, this one for example: many fans think that group didn’t deserve to win. but apparently lana’s group won because they were the group that fit the girl group image the best
i thought the song was nice, if you take a look at the lyrics i think it might actually be alluding to her losing some of her close friends over the years (kjh, sulli, hara). that being said, i like how it isn't a depressing ballad but has an empowering kind of energy to it. but agree it isn't her best work, i would've liked it more without the rap
i hate hate hate coco's english lines! really don't understand why they claim to be a kpop group and so they have a 'token' korean member but.. she sings in english? makes no sense to me and her lines sound so slurred and off.
pretty sure that poll means nothing, it's on some random site and its not voted by chinese either, if you guys take a look at the chinese fan rankings on weibo and stuff lana is nowhere near the top. i don't know where that ranking started but pretty sure its majority of international fans voting there i think she won't succeed in produce camp because i feel like chinese are more interested with the full chinese contestants and not keen to hype up a random pretty foreign girl, i kind of feel like chinese are more nationalist or proud in a way that they will always support the full chinese (does that make sense??) even mixed girl fei fei has more attention with international fans than chinese ones.
her english is good. maybe not fluent but really close, she might be more comfortable/ smoother talking in her mother tongue that's why she is talking thai in the qcyn2 videos or for thai viewers i'm not sure.
i can’t STANDDD hyewon from izone i am so close to stanning them; but she seriously makes my blood boil, she always looks like she’s being held hostage or she wished she never auditioned for p48. it really drags the image of the group down for me. then i think to myself of all the other trainees who were competing who could be at least a bit more grateful for that place than her. (kaeun!!!!???) sorry for bringing this up again but after watching relay dance of izone’s latest comeback fiesta, this is their THIRD comeback and she’s still acting like this. makes me soooo mad. (the hilarious part is that her fans defend her by saying she has a really high iq? what??) see 1:37 and 2:58
oh my god i agree with this 100% i remember when i was watching them (or more specifically lisa) during the talking parts (?)at blackpink concert last year i felt like i was watching a kids concert like jojo siwa or the wiggles... her behaviour was SO juvenile and obviously scripted it made me cringe so hard. i get that they have a lot of young fans but... it was so hard to watch.
I'm fuming that izone's company allowed them to have a fanmeet with the corona virus going around (and korea having the 2nd highest rate of it in the world). at least they were wearing n95 masks... wonyoung had to leave early because she had a coughing fit and chaeyeon because she was feeling lightheaded; apparently because the masks really restrict breathing. i understand they want to see their fans after the hiatus but this was very risky and stupid decision on the company's end.
